if ainge trades for deandre instead of KP he should be fired on the spot

Celtics starting center averaged 3 rebs for the last 3 playoff games. They desperately need rebounding and shot blocking
Kristaps averaged like 8 boards per game and 2 blocks. Plus he's way better offensively than Deandre and is younger with a higher ceiling.

Yeah, the only free agents that I can think of off the top of my head that can get supermax deals are Blake Griffin, Curry, Westbrook, and hayward would have been had he made a second all NBA team

The pacers should be in no rush to trade George. Unless they getting top 5 pick offers, they can always get 1st round picks and expirings at the deadline.

That's my point.  Actual trades that happen you usually never get the details for in advance.  I can't think of a single trade where it has happened like that.

Before you say "it happens all the time" you need to come with specifics.

The Boogie trade had principles for an entire 2 weeks on what Sacramento was wanting before the actual deal went down. A pick, and young prospect (that varied depending on what team was rumored to be interested).

I'm saying if the Celtics were trying to win next season not in the future. Porzingis is clearly the better asset

Which is why I keep saying that Blake could just do a 1+! with the Clippers and try and make an All NBA team next season.

By doing this he would make about 50 million dollars more than if he were to sign a max this summer.

I have to believe that Blake and his team are at least considering it. Before the last Salary projection came down, he was scheduled to make a possible 260Ms over 6 years if he went this route.

You call looking for a young prospect and picks details?

If I'm trying to win next year I'm taking the 7'3" guy who can space the floor for everyone, block shots, grab boards and hit 3s over the guy I gotta bench in crunchtime and who cant score off of anything but alleys and putbacks.

I mean, he doesnt get that many rebounds or block that many shots.

would any realistic move today or during this offseason (KP to BOS, Hayward to BOS, PG to SAS, etc.) really propel a team to be better than GSW next season?

The guy who's true potential you don't even know yet because he hasn't been in an efficient system. No brainer.
