Looking at dudes Twitter feed, no specifics on either supposed package from POR or SA. Just that they're interested. Meanwhile other reporters got actual names and picks for these other potential deals. Everyone and their mama that is connected with the NBA has a 'source'. Broussard had 'sources'.

Guy is rattled over the idea of Paul George going anywhere ensures the Lakers

Again someone please fill me in as to why everyone is acting like Paul George is the second coming.

[russ from silicon valley]cuz he ****?[russ from silicon valley]

I honestly don't care. I already said I hope he goes to Cleveland/Boston as a rental and walks away. He'll be a Laker start of 2019 season.

Well more often than not the deals that do get consummated tend to have very little details leaked on twitter.  It was leaked that LA was shopping DLo, but no one knew the actual details of what he was going to be traded for.  Good chance PG goes to one of those two destinations.  Hopefully is is Portland so the Lakers have a legit shot at getting him next year.  If not, he is resigning with the Spurs.

What has he ever broken?
You don't have to "Break things" to be legit. BasketballInsiders is an extremely reputable NBA website with exclusive features, interviews, etc. and he's like the head of that. Combine that with the fact that people like Woj and others have vouched and follow him, I'd like to think that's enough to make me believe that he's legit.

At the very least, it isn't baseless.

How can you be so sure of this? If he goes somewhere else and is really good they'll have his bird rights and the chance to sign him to a super max, no? And if it's a playoff team or something?

Combine that with the fact that PG not coming to LA this year would mean that the Lakers would be awful this year.

That don't sound like a sure thing to me.

yup magic blew his wad before he got the girl to commit to consensual sex

So nothing.

He is following our very own @PMatic so he may be credible. Just find it funny all the previous PG news has had specifics from the Cavs and Lakers yet nothing from this and nobody else has corroborated it yet.

When is the last time a trade broke on twitter before it was announced with all of the details on it?

Maybe just maybe the specifics haven't been disclosed yet.

You got it though. Paul George will go to the Lakers and lead the franchise to prosperity. AND he's more valuable than LeBron James.

They can't sign him to a super max if he gets traded.

According to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, the Clippers are among several teams who are working to get into the top 4 of the NBA Draft with hopes of selecting Josh Jackson, a 20-year-old 6’8” small forward from Kansas. Jackson averaged 16.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.1 blocks in his only collegiate season, shooting 54.9% from the field and 37.8% from deep. While still obviously young, the consensus top-5 pick is somewhat old for a college freshman and he will turn 21 during January of his rookie season.

Per Shelburne, DeAndre Jordan is could be the piece that the Celtics ask for in exchange for the third overall pick. The Spurs and Bulls are also interested, with valuable established veterans in LaMarcus Aldridge and Jimmy Butler.
