Sixers will for sure make the Playoffs.

Lakers probably will too.

West isn't what it used to be.

I'll be tuning in to the Big 3. What kind of cash prize are they playing for?

I like the rosters. Haven't seen Chris Jackson in a long time.

Not with their current roster.

That won't be their opening day or 2month in roster though.

It'll be a Playoff caliber roster.

**** reminds me of last years thread when people were saying 50 wins for NYK wasn't insane. You know who you are, KNICKS fans. D Rose was supposed to bounce back, right? Jaokhim was a good deal consider the current environment.

Everyone relax. Fun to shoot the **** and make stuff up in here (what else are we supposed to do), but some of you believe in stuff you are saying

I don't think anyone expected the Knicks to be THIS bad. Rose had a good statistical year. Too bad he's terrible as a defender or contributer. Tunnel vision, better served as a 6th man at this point. Noah was just bad all around, not even any veteran leadership there.

Yea we had some predicting 50 wins. But 30? Yea... no one expected it to be that bad.

Remember last year when Minny was supposed to be a playoff team?

Sixers fans need to relax a lor bit and "trust the process".

ROOKIES ARE BAD. They are minus players. The Sixers will feature two of them in their starting lineup...playing major minutes.

Temper expectations. The goals should be to:

1. Remain health
2. Develop an indentity
3. Define roles
4. Make sure Embiid stays on the floor

If those things happen...consider it a good season, even if they win 24 games.

So no minute restrictions for Embiid and Simmons, we're adding the last two #1 picks along with Furkan coming over and we're going to be spending some money in free agency......and we're actually going to lose 4 more games than last year.

Okay.

He hasn't missed the playoffs in his entire career except that season he was injured.

and his pacers squads had better teams than the current squads.

Need more vets.
\
you don't just turn around an absolutely awful culture that quickly with a guy like PG. Nope.

Lakers aren't just losing. What has happened to them the past 3 years is worst than that. Playoffs MAYBE in 2018-2019. Huge maybe.

Okay.

So you read that entire post and the only thing you got out of it was the win total? Nevermind the word if directly in front of that number

Forget we were the youngest team in the league last year or anything..no big deal because youth always wins :rolleyes

Okay.

Simmons is a rookie. He'll be good....but he won't be that type of rookie that contributes to wins good.

Embiid contributes to wins....but you have to be extremely optimistic to think he can play 65-82 games....AND play 36mpg.

The process aint complete. It's just getting started. Temper expectations and enjoy the ride

Saying LAL could make the playoffs isn't some out of line wild hot take.

Basically anybody surfing around 45 wins could snag the 8, and will likely depend on scheduling down the stretch.

The bottom of that West is blue recycle bin worthy.

Nuggets, Portland, Grizzlies and their injuries, Pelicans with that Boogie guy......

Yea man, West is worster

The 76ers now have the past two No. 1 overall picks in Markelle Fultz and Ben Simmons, along with Joel Embiid to form another hopeful young core. They opened as slight favorites to make the postseason at -125 (bet $100 to win $80), and +105 to miss it (bet $100 to win $105).

On Saturday afternoon, the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook opened the Lakers' odds to make next year's postseason, putting the "no" at -700 and the "yes" at +500. That means a $100 wager on Los Angeles to miss the postseason would win $14.29; a $100 wager on L.A. to make the postseason would win $500.

Minnesota, which acquired All-Star Jimmy Butler in a draft-night deal, opened as a -260 favorite to make the postseason (bet $100 to win $38.46), and +220 to miss (bet $100 to win $220). The Timberwolves went 31-51 in a disappointing first-year campaign under coach Tom Thibodeau and have the NBA's longest playoff drought, having last made the postseason in 2003-04.

Lakers ain't making the playoffs. Even if we get PG the roster is still young as hell. With PG we might get 37 wins at most.

6ers fans ready to claim a dynasty. Ain't even seen these dudes play together yet.
