Woj will be on the NBA Free Agency Special on ESPN2 at midnight.
Two months earlier, on opening night of the season, the Lakers played the Milwaukee Bucks. Bucks center Kent Benson elbowed Abdul-Jabbar in the stomach, and Abdul-Jabbar appeared to be in intense pain. Abdul-Jabbar then punched Benson from behind, breaking Benson's jaw and his own hand.
Tomjanovich was able to get up and walk around, however, and on the way into the locker room he saw Washington. Tomjanovich says that he became aggressive and asked Washington why he punched him. Washington yelled something inaudible about Kunnert, and they were broken up by two security personnel.[sup][/sup]Tomjanovich was in no condition to fight despite his aggressiveness; besides having the bone structure of his face detached from his skull and suffering a cerebral concussion and broken jaw and nose, he was leaking blood and spinal fluid into his skull capsule. His skull was fractured in such a way that Tomjanovich could taste the spinal fluid leaking into his mouth.[sup][/sup]He later recalled that at the time of the incident, he believed the scoreboard had fallen on him.[sup][/sup]The doctor who worked on Tomjanovich said "I have seen many people with far less serious injuries not make it" and likened the surgery to Scotch-taping together a badly shattered eggshell.[sup][[/sup]

Who the Knicks gone blame next year?
Watched a documentary on the Rockets earlier, learned 3 things:
Didn't know Hakeem had a temper problem at one point and slapped Vernon maxwell in the locker room.
Didn't know Vernon maxwell quit after the first game of the 95 playoffs disgraceful.
Definitely didn't know Rudy T got knocked out on the court and almost died due to spinal fluid leakage
Watched another on Bill russell and dude is the epitome of the term living legend.
He was a certified goon before Islam
I never knew.
Oh, another one I forgot to list:
Hakeem didn't play basketball until his senior year. Once he started receiving recruitment letters, his parents were floored, they were like 'what kind of country gives scholarships for sports?'. I definitely get where they're coming from and I'm sure other countries feel this way also. If I'm not mistaken, Nigerians are big on education, so his parents probably felt like it's absurd to go to college for free because you're good at something that has nothing to do with education. I think the equivalent to that would be how American parents would react to their child getting a sex scholarship in some other country where porn is highly accepted we know it's enjoyable but how are you going to school with that.
If JJ comes to H-Tine, does he come off the bench, or will D'antoni go to a three guard set?
at what Shaq said Hakeem was saying to him in the finals
Ibaka getting his age questioned. Teams should of knew 3 years ago. I wouldn't pay that dude for ****. He's 34-35 years old
The start difference in athleticism from his peak still now (which wasn't even that long ago) is crazy. It's like he aged 10 years within a 3 year span. Still a good player, and I'd take him over Ryan Anderson since he can play defense and worked on his outside shot, but his real age can't be under 33. The "Serge Protector" and "Serge Iblocka" days are long gone
Ibaka looks 30
