Eason been linked to blow since HS. That's been out there for years. Like Matt Corral.

WTF @ that ND atrocitiy up there

aint no chance Darnold comes back. Stawwp it.

What's this about Shea?? Looking at USC?

Yeah there’s talk of a transfer happening for him this season and several connected people think SC is a serious option. Coaches seem to be waiting to see what he does as well.

S&P+ takes all those realities into account and they are still #59 which is not good.

@MVP has a point.

Touching on this for a moment, just read that USC’s defense is ranked 5th in defensive Red Zone scoring. They do give up a lot of yards on the ground but there’s also drive after drive where they’re left starting with ****** field position and still shut teams down. VS Oregon State and Utah for example. The offense has not helped them (USC’s offense is averaging 492 yards a game but is 116th in the nation in TD percentage in the red zone and the Darnold turnover issues are well-documented.)

question: a big part of Chip Kelly’s success at Oregon was the novelty and uniqueness of his system, right? It wasn’t that opposing teams hadn’t seen a spread, it’s just that they weren’t used to a wide open HUNH run first spread system run at that break neck speed. It seemed like every time they threw the ball it was to wide open players because defenders were so gassed or confused.

We saw this work in the NFL that first year as well, and the. Then completely fail the last 2-3 years.

My question is, how do we know that Chip is going to come in and immediately replicate what he accomplished in Oregon everywhere else that is pursuing him. We know he was definitely ahead of his time in 2007 but is that still the case? He was unable to adapt his offense to have success in th NFL game, how do we know he’ll have success against Saban?

Disclaimer: eye think Chip is an excellent offensive coach. I’m just curious why everyone is so convinced he’s a can’t miss hire and is projecting results for him when we’ve seen some evidence to the contrary?

Feel free to set me straight. I’m not as big an x’s and o’s guy as most of you so there’s probably something I’m missing.

Would he be a graduate transfer and play immediately?

By the time he left UO, playing with tempo was no longer a novelty, and just like with Gus, the tempo isn't the only thing that makes that O successful.

His offenses were good at Oregon until they played a team that had a good D line. Look at how easily tOSU shut them down in 2014

Miami is going to win. Whats funny about it. Is that people act like they didn't watch them play last weekend. There Defense made mistakes and didn't play good but still dogged out VT at the end of the game.

Wimbush is not 100% healthy. Yall see him going to the locker room after the subpar hits he was getting in his last game. Miami gets to QB,s no matter how bad of a game there playing. Hes going to have to take some hits through out the game.

The #1 question everbody needs to think about. Is can he play focused with pain through the entire game against a A1 Defense like Miami's. I dont see it happening. Plus there playing Miami in there home field.

I give the slight edge to Miami. I think the game will be determined in the 4th Quarter though. Its going to depend on if Miami Defense is playing at a high level in the 4th. Or if ND Offense is playing at a high level in the 4th Quarter. Whichever 1 is gassed or banged up by the 4th will win.

Thats why im picking Miami. There Defense rarely stops playing at a high level in the 4th. Hence = why there always in position to win even with poor Offensive playing in the 4th.

Add that with ND QB looking like he wasnt 100% last game.

After Miami beats ND. They'll finally get there respect from analysts/voters. Because theyre a Defensive Juggernaut. So people are still sleeping on them. There not a Offensive team at all.

Its like watching the 85 Bears,2000 Baltimore Ravens,Reggie White,Warren Sapp,Deion Sanders and Champ Bailey in there prime. Thats how i know some of these T.V. Analysts and Online fans haven't been watching them.

Everybody is going off of the the status quo. Instead of actually watching them play. Go back and watch there games. No Offense has dominated or taken advantage of there Defense.

If Miami loses. It will be because the Offense cant put up any points.

d. There Defense made mistakes and didn't play good but still
Huh lol? Def made mistakes but the defense played very well.

I need some of what you're drinking.

That ND OL does work... Glad to not have a dog in the fight and just watch some good football being played... I do like seeing Miami in the Top 10 again

That has more to do with talent than scheme. There’s not a lot you can do to mask guys getting their *** whooped up front.
