Unless you personally know people within the Steelers locker room then I don’t know where you possibly could be hearing that from. The beat writers that were in there with the team after the game said Conner was walking perfectly normal afterwards and just had a bag of ice on his ankle. No limp.

If I had to guess right at this second I would think they’d let him rest it this week to be ready for the Patriots and Saints the next two games though.

Contusion/bone bruise depends on the severity, but ultimately your pain tolerance. It could take a week of rest and he may be back or could take longer. The issue with it is contact to that area is always going to have pain at least for a month and the more its hit the longer that heaking process is gonna take. .

As for them winning, they throw the ball majority of the time anyway so i think theyll be fine if he doesnt play this week.

Conner's status is dependent on his pain tolerance. Theyll rest him most of the week. Just matters how much it hurts when its getting touched/hit repeatedly when getting tackled.

Walking running cutting wont really affect him as time goes on, so seeing him without a limp isnt telling the whole story
