Lol...i put up with 1 guy like that Whos young/cheap/good CFer/good baserunner..if the OF was joc/dre/bruce....id throw in the towel.

I love Joc. Average is up from last year, strikeouts down, and got a great eye for drawing walks. That glove is top notch. Hope he's a long term Dodger.

Think we should keep Urias also. White Sox are going to be in sell mode. They'll dump him for something other than that I think.

this will be fun, all archer has to do is change dugouts once hes traded.

bud has been a great pickup thus far

lets see if the pen can hold it down

Can't really ask for much more recently...especially with Kershaw out...hope this keeps up!

What's with these random *** noon games? These dudes probably still have asleep at work 1st pitch :lol

From ESPN Insider. What would it take to trade for Sale 8o

5.Los Angeles Dodgers

The Dodgers have been collecting assets since team president Andrew Friedman and GM Farhan Zaidi arrived two years ago; now it's time for them to turn these assets into championship-caliber players in their prime, and Chris Sale fits that mold perfectly.

Let's make this clear: The Dodgers aren't getting Sale without parting with young lefty starter Julio Urias. If they won't, the deal is dead. If they will, then it's a matter of deciding who will go with him. Pitcher prospect Jose De Leon would be the next name included, and the third would be … Yasiel Puig, as the Dodgers move in a different direction and the White Sox hope the influence of first baseman Jose Abreu will get the talented Puig to make adjustments.

Trade: Sale for Urias, De Leon and Puig. That would give the Dodgers the dreaded one-two punch of Clayton Kershaw and Sale going forward. In fact, if Kershaw (back) is able to return to form this season, the Dodgers would have a legitimate chance of running the table in October.

Even friedman wouldnt do something that stupid. In fact, im almost expecting a josh reddick for puig deal to go down in 72 hrs. Now that.....screams friedman. (I wouldnt like that deal either).

Right...which is why puig as a throw in on a deal centered around urias for a deal for just sale(plus de leon) would be a fleece job.

The reddick for puig deal, which i hear is being speculated..screams friedman soley cuz of the moneyball aspect/flashy malcontent for "scrappy" moneyball player has friedman/zaidi written all over it. It would not shock whatsoever.

Wade Davis' name is being bandied about today..i like it. Has a 10M club option next yr and although the velo has dipped a bit..is still 31(not washed like b.wilson or league shortly after acquired). If he can be acquired, that would be a solid 8th/9th back end.

Speaking of today...did we really expect to score runs off moore with 3 lefties+taylor and ellis in the lineup?? In missin trayce and puig every passing second.

Still kant watch games (thanks TWC deal), but from what ive been readin n hearin, the boys are playin pretty well. Glad to hear we still in kontention n that the young guys are performing. Whats the expektations heading into the dog days n outlook on the team? Also, what trades would ya like n whats ya thoughts on management?

Go Dodgers Go!

Depends...what kind of deals are made, if any. If kersh comes back. If puig ever becomes 2013 puig ever again. If gonzo can hit for power again. If turner and kendrick sustain this trend. If the pen can sustain this league low ERA. If trayce comes back and hits the way he was pre back injury. If mccarthy and norris can continue to issue quality starts.....so yes, the next 2 months depend on alot. Only 8 more weeks of vin, give or take. Man........

If you know Kershaw is coming back you make trades. If he isn't or you're unsure, it's hard to give away the farm

The Gnats have been so bad that I can see us still being buyers no matter what happens with Kersh. Maybe minor deals like adding a decent bat or starter.

Thing is...they're getting pence, duffy and panik back..can't rely on them continuing to lose. They r worlds better with those guys.
