Did you get to see Kawhi?

Nope, I was in the student activities center where the Rico runs are, Kawhi Lebron had worked out earlier in the wooden rec center, a different gym on campus. They didn’t hoop yesterday w/ everyone else, just worked out.

Caught a ton of Harden, Russ, PG, and seemingly everyone else in the league yesterday though.

Buddy Heild goes crazy, Lorenzo Brown called Isos on Russ twice for game, Fred Van Vleet, pascal, OG, really the entire raptors contingent

(I mean literally the entire raptors squad is there. They have like two teams there daily including coaches, trainers, it’s wild. )

Harden and KD are like...duh, but they’re legit cheat codes, just look impossible to guard, Austin Rivers did well yesterday, Rudy Gobert been hooping, Russ is a jackass of a player, it’s crazy to watch

The heads on the sidelines are like as noteworthy as the players. Shams, Woj, Rich Kleiman, every agent be in there, fun environment

The interesting question to me is how and why are they being paid so much more money overseas? I read an article saying that female basketball players can make 5-6x as much playing overseas as they do in the WNBA.

I'd really like to see some analysis on why that is. Obviously if they're getting paid a lot more over there, the sport must be a lot more popular and the owners of these teams must be making a lot more money from women's basketball overseas as well. Maybe the WNBA should look at how they cultivated women's basketball in Europe and apply those same methods to America as opposed to just complaining about not getting paid as much stateside.

It's not about the revenue they bring in overseas....the teams are owned by crazy rich dudes that are in it for bragging rights, basically pay whatever it takes to get the best players to see who's team is the best at the end of the season...Over here women's sports get the same business models that men do without the big money involved, doesn't make sense but thats just how sports ownership and leagues are run in this country

Can OG dribble? He was trying during summer league but still looked stiff

Nah he can’t . I mean he can attack corner closeouts with one or two dribbles but aside from that he’s looked pretty much the same.

I forgot to mention Ben Mac looked really good yesterday too. Crazy how someone can be automatic in that setting and be straight trash in the league

You think Buddy can have a break out season this year? He looked great second half of last season. I'm not sure the addition of Bagley, Giles, or concentration of Foxx is going to stifle him a bit

The Kings seemingly don’t know what to do with buddy but he was good last year whenever they actually played him. Feels like whenever he gets the minutes he produces

She just needs to go ahead and release the tapes.” Skylar Diggins says she thinks WNBA players are treated unfairly and should be paid more “She should just do porn”.
