I love how my guide on my tv hasn't adjusted to the sweep yet.

NBA tv got NBA Live at the Finals Post "2018 Finals, Game 5

Surprised Sekou Smith aint interviewing JR Smith wondering if the game was cancelled.

I’m not believing a damn thing about Kawhi staying or being on great terms with the team still. All the comments from the team and Pop throughout the season, the fact he refused to even be there with the team on the bench when Pop’s wife died, refused to rehab with the team since January and opted to rehab with the Sixers Chief Medical Officer instead lead me to believe these “reports” are full of ****

He didn’t do this all season just to get leverage on a max cotract. This is Kawhi Leonard...he knew he was getting a max contract regardless.

all this talk about the lakers being the favorites in the lebron sweepstakes gots me thinking they wont get him afterall. it never goes as planned

everyone thought he was either staying or going to new york with the decision and he ended up going to miami

watch him sign with the bucks

There are definitely reasons for joining the Lakers, but winning a championship next season is not one of them. Why would LeBron go to the Lakers if winning a championship next season is even somewhat of a priority? Even considering the best of the best scenarios, like if Kawhi and PG somehow went to the Lakers with him, they would still only be a "big 3" and wouldn't match the Warriors. Not to mention the role players Warriors have would be superior to the Lakers role players as well.

I just can’t see this man getting swept in the Finals and being berated for his Finals record every year only to leave the East where he’s dominated every year to head West to team up with a team of mostly unproven young players and Paul George who just went 2-16 for 5 points in a closeout game loss in the first round against a team with a rookie as their best player. The Lakers also would have as much a shadow playing behind LeBron anytime he suits up as any team he could possibly join besides the Bulls. I feel like LeBron cares way too much about his legacy to make a move that risky.

For what it's worth- Lebron James Jr. is enrolling in the 9th grade at Sierra Canyon High School which is in the LA area.

Yeah Lebron is a millionaire a hundred times over and I guess he could fly in and out of LA from any NBA city to spend time with his kids, but who really wants to do that with such a young family?

It just seems to me that most NBA players wouldn't ship their 14 year old off across the country while the player moved to...Philly?

Who knows though...

If Lebron and Kawhi teamed up anywhere and had mediocre to above average role players around them... that would be a problem for all opposing teams. It says so in the bible. LOL!

Kawhi is not leaving the spurs though.

It wasn't important for Kawhi to be on the bench with the team when Pop's wife passed because it's been pretty well documented in the media that Kawhi was at the funeral.

Kawhi might appear to be a weird dude, but I haven't heard anybody call him a jerk yet.

The whole rehabbing away from the Spurs was justified because from the looks of things, the spurs staff misdiagnosed the original quad injury.

I'm willing to dismiss any comments made by Tony Parker regarding any of his teammates for one very specific reason- he doens't respect any of his teammates. Please see the time he slept with Brent Barry's wife and ruined Brent Barry's marriage WHILE Brent Barry was Parker's teammate on the Spurs!

Ginobili spoke out as well, but I think he was speaking from a point of general frustration as opposed to, "I know Kawhi is healthy enough to be playing right now."

Danny Green fell somewhere along the lines of Ginobili's comments.

I'm 90% sure after Kawhi and Pop have their SCHEDULED meeting in the coming weeks, that things will be ironed out and Kawhi will happlily put his signature on an $200M contract (especially because his shoe deal with Jordan Brand completely fell through, or at least it had fallen through last I heard about it).

He’s only going into 8th grade, but I’m not believing that report coming only a few days after this man finished the NBA Finals and while most middle and high schools are still finishing up.

While I do believe the Lakers are seriously in the running, LeBron James ain’t letting the cat out of the bag already even if he does end up eventually going there. His son does not need to “commit” or enroll in school there right now in the beginning of June. Everything LeBron does is extremely calculated and him and his team of people know not to have something out there as obvious as that. Especially before the draft and potential big trades that can happen and before his meetings with the Sixers, Rockets, etc.

He's 13 and turns 14 October 6th. Kids skip grades...especially kids whose fathers want to play long enough in the NBA to play with or against their son's like Lebron has publicly expressed a desire to do.

Sierra Canyon is where Scottie Pippen's boys go, its also where Marvin Bagley went before attending Duke. I know you don't have to commit to HS but you also don't wanna jerk your kids around.

I agree, Lebron is a super calculated guy. So I would suspect that when he plops down over $20M on not one but TWO houses in the Los Angeles area, he's not doing so with plans of never living in them I would assume.

I don't buy into the Brian Windhorst narrative that Lebron doesn't want to show his hand. If Lebron shows all of his cards he still maintains leverage in virtually every possible NBA roster scenario because he is Lebron James. The only real advantage of keeping his plans a secret are to keep the media from distorting it.

It's not a lock that he comes to LA but Philly seems like a risky choice with Embiid's health and Simmons being such a similar player.

Houston doesn't make sense because Chris Paul is guaranteed to get hurt at the most inopportune time every season like clockwork.

Staying in Ohio will not work because that team is now cash strapped due to moves made to make Lebron happy.

Get ready for Lonzo lobs to Bron and a lot more Lavar.

Don't have to be the best defender on the team in San Antonio LeBron
Kyler's track record is as shaky as they come but people need to understand that Kawhi's beef wasn't so much with Pop directly as it was with Spurs medical staff and RC Buford.

I'd bet the farm that Kawhi is a Spur next season.
