I've often felt like Draymond is what makes GSW close to unbeatable. He's the one that can guard 1-5, contain switches, rebound, no one else on the team can do that. Their Hampton 5 death small ball lineup can't work if Dray can't competently protect the rim and guard littles.

That being said, once KD came aboard it changes things. I probably would have paid Dray the max if KD never came. But 200+ Ms to a guy who's on a team with Klay, Steph, and KD is kind of ridiculous. For that price, you're better off trying to see if Jordan Bell can become close to Draymond or try to find a diamond in the rough somewhere or something.

Draymond is definitely the glue.

Luckily for the Warriors no other team would pay him 200M either. It's gonna cost them to keep him, its just not gonna cost them the supermax.

You do realize KD won the scoring title four times while sharing the floor with Perkins, Thabo & Serge... Trust me he knows how to work outside of a double team... Also Lebron was trotting out a lineup of Kyrie, JR, Korver & Love at points for the past couple of years....... he wasn't exactly facing heavy double teams
