As mentioned before, I ASSUME, Boggie is using this year as an audition to other teams to show them that he is OK. Next year is the year that he will be looking for the real monies.

I need to look up boston's cap, but that's the situation I would have gone to if I was him

Horford is 32 and has 1 more player option year after next season (so I have the buffer year or two before they actually gotta really really depend on me)

Get a 1 + 1 deal, which gives me some security if my achilles isn't right.. if achilles is right, opt out and sign for bigger deal

Sets me up for years with that young core and then they have kings pick coming in more than likely (assuming it isn't 1st overall)

I never look at ONE player and say, "He possesses enough talent to win a ring."

It is a team sport. I don't care HOW talented that player is.
