Why does Charles Barkley act like he wasn’t trying to stack the deck by going to Houston? Lol
Um maybe because he was traded and Houston lost many of their assets a that helped them win two Chanpionships in the trade.

The Lakers added LeBron James and several role players.
The Warriors added DeMarcus Cousins in a stunning move.
So it was time for the Rockets to make a move, and on Tuesday they did, reportedly agreeing to a deal with former Charlotte Hornets guard Michael Carter-Williams.
According to ESPN, it's a one-year deal worth the minimum.

Taken by the 76ers with the No. 11 overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, Carter Williams averaged 16.7 points per game that season and won NBA Rookie of the Year. But over the course of the next four seasons, his career and numbers have spiraled downward.
A year after being drafted, the 76ers traded Carter-Williams to Milwaukee. He has spent the last two seasons with Chicago and Charlotte, respectively. This past season, he averaged 4.6 points, 2.2 assists and 2.7 rebounds in 52 games.
"No offers"
