True, but him leaving also leaves a ton of space, as well. Depending on how legit they have sounded regarding "team" ball, it could get really interesting. Especially with the draw of playing in golden states new place, culture, everything. Man, that sounds crazy, talking about the warriors in this context after all these years.
If KD or Klay left next offseason the Warriors wouldn't see any cap relief because they would already be over the salary cap. I believe that's how it works but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
Who knows though, the players seem to be willing to make sacrifices for one another but next year Klay and Draymond will both be 29 and I can see them trying to cash in and look for a big payday after having won (likely) 4 championships.
