Very good chance that this is a new injury and different than the original shoulder injury. Could have been from the heavy shooting all summer

I highly doubt the Sixers took 2 years to find this

You know the medical staff is terrible where people have all these weird injuries.

THEY NEED TO GO. They are a major liability to this team.

TOS is usually due to compression of nerves from the neck to above the armpit. Repetitive motions/trauma etc are the main cause, ironically just reading it right now muscle hypertrophy (large muscles in the shoulder area) can cause it.

Thoracic outlet syndrome is almost a death sentence for MLB pitchers. Obviously basketball is different than pitching but it's really tough to come back from.

Hope Fultz eventually gets right.

Edit: nvm it was other guys (notably Matt harvey) but they came back to pitch again

Unless there’s some special legal significance attached to the distinction by Fultz’s contract or the CBA, the “injury” vs. “condition” thing seems like semantics in this situation. Seems to me that the obligation was on the Sisters to explore all possible physiological explanations for why the number 1 pick the in the NBA draft suddenly no longer was able to shoot a basketball with consistent normalcy. Whether the cause was an “injury” or a “condition,” they should have figured it out. Just my possibly uniformed opinion.

My PT buddy told me it will likely take him longer to fully recover if he’s had it for a year or so and it was misdiagnosed and untreated
