Thoracic outlet syndrome is almost a death sentence for MLB pitchers. Obviously basketball is different than pitching but it's really tough to come back from.

Talked to my PT friend on rounds about it potentially being a nerve injury to Fultz. He mentioned TOS, said recovery and rehab are super long though due to it being postural and structural damage. But you can return it to normal.
