Bosh and Love went from high usage go to guys to 3rd options. For years I've never understood why this comes up every other week in regards to Bron.

the better question is who has improved in their time with Bron. every young guy that has come in, while Bron was on the team, pretty much had to take a back seat. name a player that actually got better because of Bron. don't say Kyrie, bc he's been the same before and after.

Clarkson, Hood, Nance, Waiters, Beasly, Hickson are just some of the young promising players that Bron has played with that didn't seem to learn anything from him. i don't think he really cares for mentoring other players. that's why his teams are made up of mostly vets.

****** don’t even realize how fascinating Kevin Durant is. We might not see another Durant for awhile just like lebron unless Zion ends up being just as good which I doubt.

Imagine if the internet was what it is today in previous eras of the NBA.

Dirk would have been considered a bust after year 1.
Chauncey Billups would be a trash journeyman
John Stockton would have been considered a small bum who couldn't shoot.

This is wayyyy too accurate :lol

I’m sure Embiid will play vs Drummond on Monday at Philly.

Drummond and Blake vs Amir and Mike Muscala could be absolutely disastrous tonight though......

let's face it, Bron stunts everyone's development wherever he goes.
I always thought superstars become avg, poor players become avg and avg become above avg when playing with Lebron. He helps some and he deteriorates others IMO.

However, I dont think young players or poor/avg players get better after Lebron. They are seen as scrubs and never will Bs. Part because of the sacrifices and because of the Narratives that Lebrin carried a bunch of nobodies.

Beasley is the around the same age as bron.

And none of those young players you listed are good except waiters who became decent after he went to Miami and that’s only because he knew it was his last chance in the league.

I’m like 200% sure Bron is out here mentoring kuzma, lonzo and Ingram. A lot of young dudes just don’t figure it out right away and to have a top 5 player in the league come to the team gives the young guys some motivation. I’m sure he’s mentoring Hart too.

W/e. Dudes really just hate to admit that bron has a positive impact on any team he joins.

So what you're saying is that you want the best basketball player on Earth to take a back seat to Jordan Clarkson, Rodney Hood, Larry Nance, Dion Waiters, Michael Beasley, and JJ Hickson?

i mean Kuz has become a better playmaker recently
i wont attribute that 100% to bron but i'm sure he's had influence in that
he's doing much more than just trying to get buckets all the time now lol

Zo is zo.. i see improvements mostly on his defense on decision making..
again can't put that 100% on bron but he keep hyping him up in media so i'm sure the confidence boost helps lol

that's actually my point. none of the younger players end up better because of Lebron. i'm not hating. i'm just pointing out the fact that he's such a focal point of the team, that the younger players that are supposed to develop end up as spectators.

he might be mentoring the young Lakers now that he's in his mid 30s. throughout his career, he hasn't really had a young player rise with him, with the exception of Kyrie. i can't think that every year whatever team he was on drafted busts.

Kobe needs more help.

Modelo Melo from his Denver days.

Magic woulda would’ve found a way for Dwight to stay in LA so they can party “together”

He does have a positive impact. The teams win, however, that has nothing to do with player development. It has to do with players adjusting to Lebron and his style of play. The are very well sacrificing their game for the better of Lebron and their team. If the organization and teammates want to win, its just a trade off.

But let not sit here and say Lebron is helping mentor the youth. In my eyes all the teammates lebron has had are bums that Lebron maximize.

The teammates that Lebron brought in or team with had a significant drop off from their all star caliber days when they join Lebron.

These things can mean a few things, younger players didnt mature of develop properly to adjust to lebron and thus they stay as bums and great players sacrificed everything and became avg.

Only dude that said F this was Kyrie ....

I do believe that elite players are naturally gonna make it harder for lesser players to shine. That’s just how it is in basketball. I do also think sacrifice comes with winning sometimes, so you’d have to take a back seat to the better player if it means winning more.

I'm certain dude was talking about development and 100% you knew that. But ya dudes always with the jokes instead in having a conversation about facts.

How are bosh and love gonna average their same numbers when they are playing with d wade and kyrie? Bron is a ball dominant player and so is wade and so is kyrie. One of those players has to take that L. Bosh and love would take being a 3rd option over being a 1st option any day if it means winning a ship.

Well, although you are slow and it took you all this time, you finally understand what dudes have been saying. Congrats ....

BTW, there are other ways to win that sacrificing their skills and value. However, I do agree with your statement, is about winning and like it or not Lebron is the team. Although Kyrie balled for that 1 chip in Clev.

He played with Waiters, Hood, Clarkson, and Nance for half a season wtf lol
Beasley was not a young player when he played with Bron.
Hickson had his best year(s) playing with LeBron.
What are you even talking about

KD avg 30 while playing with the best player in the league (he’s averaging 30), and Klay who avgs 20ish; it can be done if he wasn’t so ball dominate, that’s the issue.
