It’s LeBron’s fault Clarkson was trash in games that actually mattered?

I don’t think it was really serious. Clarkson is a low efficiency gunner. The only outlier in his TS% was when he was with LeBron. He’s back to his career average now.

What winning team has a largely youthful team? Most winning teams aren’t comprised of mostly young players

you're missing the point. i'm not saying the roster has to be full of 23 year olds and Bron. the point i'm making is that during his tenure with Cleveland, Miami, and Cleveland again there wasn't a player that was developed to take over after he left. he always leaves a team left with bad contracts and aged vets. it wasn't like "ok Kyrie i'm out. you're the face of the franchise now". its "**** you Bron I'M out".

also, there are only 7 different teams to win a championship in the last 18 years, so not a lot to compare. however, the Spurs have done it young guys. outside of Manu, Duncan, and Parker they've been able to develop players to win with.

If you have the best basketball player on Earth, your team's goal SHOULD BE to win the championship. The team is going to construct a team around the best player that gives them the best chance to win. MOST OF THE TIME, young players don't really contribute to winning, which is why the ideal Bron teams are usually very veteran-heavy. The list of players that were named are average NBA players at best, and the best young player he was with was exempt from the argument for some reason. Kyrie has admitted that playing with LeBron made him a better player.

This current Lakers team is really the first time LeBron has been surrounded by multiple young players that are actually thought of to be good. Kuzma and Ball certainly haven't "suffered" from Bron. Ingram is having a tough time because he needs the ball in his hands to be successful and he has a homeless man's version of Bron's skillset. If Bron were to theoretically adapt more to Ingram's skillset and just play as a complementary piece to Ingram, the team would suffer, and you'd have folks like MVP MVP crying about how Bron isn't being assertive enough.
Kyrie said Lebron made him better and on the same breath he said he needed to go somewhere where he could grow. A place he could be happy. So???????

I guess what KD said has merit. Those weren't random unweighted statements.

He was excluded because he didnt sacrifices **** and hence the reason he left.

I mean, you know that.

I mean ya are something serious.

Nothing that is being said is made up.

No one is arguing thay Lebron doesnt win on his own terms, but on those terms sacrifices have to be made.

But ya want to make 1001 excuses to justify something that doesn't have to be justified. LoL

But but but ..

2011-12 Miami Heat. LeBron's first championship.

Lebron averaged 27
Wade averaged 22
Bosh averaged 18

Y'all have to stop being intellectually dishonest.

Bosh didn’t average those numbers in the playoffs though, let alone provide impact that maximizes his talent.

KD and Klay can still be the best, most maximized versions of themselves while playing with Steph, because he’s not so ball dominate.

Steph gives you Bron production/ impact (or better) without the incredibly high usage. That’s incredible.

You saw what happened when Steph wasn’t playing, KD and Klay’s percentages dropped like crazy.

So no, it’s not the “system” that enhances their games.

Developing young players is for losing franchises and tanking teams.

Who are these young players the Spurs developed during their championship seasons?

They got Murray now but they’re not competing for championships.

When has a title team in history developed young players at the same time as legitimately competing for a ring?

yall cant read for ****...the initial post was that Bron stunts the growth of players wherever he goes. THAT WAS IT. never did i say the teams dont win or Bron is trash or Bron is this and that. one statement got yall jimmies rustled like ****.

If Boogie gets back to 100% and plays this season, is he going to be able to put up his pre-injury stats playing alongside Curry and KD?

Just wondering.

Lol at “maximizing talent”

Maxing Kyrie’s talent was a 20 win team in the dark days of the east.

Maximizing K Love’s talent would be hoping to make an 8th seed in the west.

Maximizing Klay’s would have you as a 10 win team. How you gunna win a ring if your franchise player can’t dribble or create a shot for himself?

Maximizing Chris Bosh’s talent was like a 5th seed in the east.

All those players would rather win rings than be the #1 on a ****ball team (except maybe Kyrie :lol )

someone said earlier this is the first team where bron has young players that are deemed good and he doesnt seem to be stunting their growth

besides maybe BI but i was never too sold on BI either. Kuz is doing fine, zo seems to be trending upward imo, hart improved but that was more from his own work in the summer imo lol

KD avg 30 while playing with the best player in the league (he’s averaging 30), and Klay who avgs 20ish; it can be done if he wasn’t so ball dominate, that’s the issue.
Klay’s usage last year is virtually identical to Bosh’s and Love’s with LeBron.

He averages 20 & they didn’t because of math. He takes and makes more 3 pointers.

Wade’s usage was also well above 30%.

those 3 in gsw just the perfect tandem
any 3 of them can go off for 60 and light it up from 3
you gotta check them all at 50 ft lol

The Spurs didn't develop their players?
