Makes sense to me.

It depends though, depends on how butler plays with Simmons without embiid vs how butler plays with embiid without Simmons. I think butler is their leader now. Took over that team, not necessarily a good thing though imo. Embiid and simmons are special (obviously)

Butler plays most of his minutes with Simmons. There hasn’t been much Embiid/Bulter lineups. Usually see Embiid with JJ/Shamet outside of starting 5 line ups

I understand it isn’t easy to coach but our coach is idiot and is in no way putting this team in the best position to win

I’d fire the coach before I trade my 6’10” point guard, non-existent jumper & all.

Not mad at it. Moving a guy you’re not keeping for a someone who’s 3 inches taller with a wingspan over 7 feet, giving them another lengthy defender to go along with Slenderman.

that's a good point with moves being made to accommodate Simmons rather than Embiid. But before even judging Simmons I think a coaching change will make a difference. like making him a PF and give him something similar to a Lamar Odom role as a secondary playmaker.

Simmons has been playing better with Butler now but you're right, either he has to shoot or move him to PF and play him like a big. We would need a competent PG tho.

As of right now, Simmons is the 3rd best player on the team. Embiid being #1 and Butler being #2. Our GM needs to understand that and act accordingly.
But to trade him? I don't think it's necessary, I think Embiid, Butler and Ben can all play to their full potential together. I think the onus is on coaching and management.
