- There were 14 picks before Kawhi
- Every team passed on Draymond, some even passed on him twice. If David Lee doesn't get injured, who knows how Draymond would have developed

If I'm Philly I holla at Portland, Simmons for Dame. Simmons got a lot of natural gifts but I see him getting exposed every year in the playoffs.

If we were to ever deal him, this is the type of deal that would make some sense. Right now we have basically nothing at all at the 4 spot after dealing Dario and Covington so something like that would hurt us too much at the moment to do until this offseason when we’d be able to make some signings.

For now we’ll probably be looking at a bunch of guys on cheap deals or expiring contracts to fix our bench. Lin, KCP, Ariza, Portis, Justin Holiday and Ed Davis are some of the names I’m sure they’re looking at.

I’m just stating what’s obvious, Simmons and Embiid won’t work unless Simmons gets a jumper which he has refused to do in 3 years. I’d rather make that decision a year early than do it a year too late

Ariza has been awful on both sides of the ball this year. I'm sure a lot of it has to do with playing for that dumpster fire Suns team, but that seems like it would be a massive overpay.

Giving Up KCP for Ariza i'm fine with I guess. KCP is a guy who still forces things on Offense & it stagnates us at points. And while he's a pretty good defender He has trouble against bigger wings so i see why we would rather Ariza. But i'm hesitant on giving up Rondo, I think he can really stabalize our second unit.

Agreed with KCP/Ariza swap. Rondo would be far more important for a potential playoff run than Ariza though, IMO.
