It doesn't really matter what stretch it was, the team was playing slightly over .500 ball when the rest of the kids were there without Bron. That's a fact. I'd say the problem was they only played together for half of the 18 when he was out.

I don't even know what games the kids played together w/o bron, but during the time bron was out the Lakers beat the kings (after losing to them), mavs, pistons, bulls, thunder, and Suns.

And lost to the damn Knicks and Cavs.

That's also a fact. The idea that Lebron missing 10 games instead of 18 w/o accounting for who those games would be against is silly.

I don't think the Lakers were planning on him playing 82 at all. They talked about managing his minutes and not burning him out all season. And he was at the lowest minutes of his career outside of his rookie season when the injury occurred. He'd averaged 73 games a season before playing all 82 last year. We all thought the injury wasn't serious. If he misses 10 games late that means he's missing a tougher stretch of games where we'd likely lose anyway. If he misses them early that means he's available for the easier stretch in the middle. It absolutely makes a bigger difference. As well as the kids not being available at the same time he was out.

They were about to lose to the Cavs earlier with him in CLE, they've blown games when he was fully healthy. The media won't tell that story though.

They 22-17 with heem. A 46 win pace. They are going to be that all along. And he was going to miss games. Could see it from a mile away.

At best...this Bron team is a 5-8 seed in the west. Missing all the mom games gives them the under. I think he might’ve milked some games too btw. Def ducked bump for “Load Management “

Yeah, me.

Lmao I don't think it's a sure thing, but that ESPN piece where he's pushing is off the court business ventures hard...moved 35 Media and ventures to NYC...and the Knicks just so happen to have not one but two max slots so if he decides that the Knicks are a viable option, he doesn't have to go dolo.

His own teammates have even said he's going there :lol

Just seems like where there's smoke there's fire and it's a damn inferno w/ KD to NYC.

Oh no he def milked it bro lol

Coming from a stout bronistotle disciple :lol

Why not? I'm not being sarcastic, but why not? The Knicks have been a dumpster fire for two decades, but players love Fiz, and unlike the LBJ to NYK rumors, there's some tangible evidence pertaining to KD to the Knicks.

Mans milked it so that if he did miss the playoffs he could say "I would have gotten in easily if I was healthy"

You see it starting to happen again now. 3 out w/a little over 20 games left, knows that it's going to be hard as hell for them to make it, and "He's not fully healed"

I'm still trying to figure out why he'd put the prime of his career in James Dolan's hands, but sounds like Rich has sold him on this move. Legacy + KD just being a different type of dude. I guess I'm a believer. Deflee considering Knicks' season tix next year.

I'm just not getting my hopes up because there's
really no valid reason to leave GSW for a team coming off a 15 win season. I know we haven't been the smartest team but I refuse to believe we traded Porzingis without knowing something about free agency. You don't trade a young star about to hit RFA for just a chance at two max players.

This whole thing kind of reminds me of when Durant was rumored to leave OKC for GSW. There were stories published all season about how GSW could make it happen but no one really believed he'd leave.

The knicks gonna end up with Demarcus Cousins and Jimmy Butler.

I will never have positive thoughts concerning this hellhole of a franchise that should of been contracted 20 years ago.

Well, it's becoming clear Durant wants to be recognized as the best player today and that won't happen in GS. It might not be NY, but it's somewhere else.

Right and that's precisely my point. Bron to LA, KD to GSW, the smoke was there, people just didn't believe it. Same thing here, there's crazyyy smoke connecting KD and the Knicks.

He said he liked how Lebron looked at teams as like, chapters in a book and that this GSW chapter is just that, a chapter. Factor in everything that we've gathered so far, it's a "Safe bet." Not a guarantee, I'm sure it's probably a fluid situation this early out, but these decisions are made months in advance. I think its a safe bet.

Optically, leaving GSW for a 15 win team wouldn't be believable, but NYK making maybe the dumbest trade in the world so that KD doesn't have to come to NYK alone makes too much sense. The Porzingis trade is almost a dead giveaway.

During the Lebron FA meeting with the Knicks, they pushed him becoming a billionaire in NY as the focal selling point. They better not run with this same agenda in the Durant meeting, if there even is one. Cant make the same mistake twice.

Basketball and building a winning culture first, all the venture and business opportunities should come after.

Durant would be an absolute legend in New York if he brought a title here.

I don't think fans in other parts of the country care that much but he'd own the city if he pulled it off. Him, Kyrie, and whoever else would be immortalized.
