Right and that's precisely my point. Bron to LA, KD to GSW, the smoke was there, people just didn't believe it. Same thing here, there's crazyyy smoke connecting KD and the Knicks.

He said he liked how Lebron looked at teams as like, chapters in a book and that this GSW chapter is just that, a chapter. Factor in everything that we've gathered so far, it's a "Safe bet." Not a guarantee, I'm sure it's probably a fluid situation this early out, but these decisions are made months in advance. I think its a safe bet.

Optically, leaving GSW for a 15 win team wouldn't be believable, but NYK making maybe the dumbest trade in the world so that KD doesn't have to come to NYK alone makes too much sense. The Porzingis trade is almost a dead giveaway.

I wouldnt call the Knicks trade dumb per say.

1. We really dont know how KP will be after the injury. Chances are he comes back just as good, but theres also a chance he wont.

2. They really got rid of some bad contracts. CL and THJr plus received expiring contracts and an ok PG that can become good, plus more draft picks.

3. Although is cap space, it is easier to lure someone in knowing that you can get that person immediate help and still have your young core and draft picks.

4. Again, aquired more draft, instead of having to used their picks in order to get rid of players.

So yes, they lost KP, but if all we had was injured KP, we might not even been talking about a FA going to NYC.

I actually think they got the best of the trade. Now. Hopefully they stay the course and if nonFA go to the Knicks they continue to build properly.

I don't think anybody is asking Lebron to be an elite defender anymore, just a willing and average one would suffice. He's a damn liability at this point on that end. And doesn't give effort really at all.
