can we get an answer on what empty stats are or not? this was all that was asked... Ya'll swear that if someone isn't 1000% in on a player ya'll like that they're getting bashed.

You know very little about actual basketball. 90% of everything you say you say in here is based on barbershop emotion. It's about who somebody "likes" to you or who you "dislike". No objectivity at all.
I don't "like" Devin Booker. As a matter of fact...run a search on my name and "Devin Booker" and I doubt you'll find alot before today. I'm simply pointing the absurdity in the logic being made in here. I have no dog in this race. I'm not a "Devin Booker fan".

I dont think he is a better player persay, perhaps a better scorer, just not overall better of that make sense. The kid really hasn't done anything. They lose all the time and they let him get off, just like last night, when you are getting blown out by 30, no one gives a **** about 1 person going off.

The team was picked across the board...to finish 14th or 15th in the West before the season even started...based on the talent on the roster. But somehow...Devin Booker making 30Ms should supersede ALL of that

Bro What are you talking about.... the only "negative" thing i've said about Booker in here was that he isn't an "Elite" playmaker & questioned how he doesn't get accused of empty stats when other players have been accused of that in the past.

Sounds like your beef is with the NBA Collective Bargaining Agreement and not Devin Booker.
He got paid the maximum of what he was allowed to be paid. If Stephen Curry didn't have glass ankles in his early years...he too would have gotten the max extension BASED ON HIS PERFORMANCE...despite Golden State being very bad during that time.

Based on the logic I'm gathering in here today...
We should be ****ting on Bradley Beal because he makes $28 million and the Wizards aren't going to the playoffs. If he signs the supermax next year...and is still on the same Wizards team...they should be a playoff team...because he'll be making 40/year.

That's not the argument at all from most people tho... the argument has been if Booker is a "special" player in his fourth year he should be able to elevate his team past 25 wins. That's All people are saying.... not even a playoff birth but how special of a talent are you really if your play hasn't effected winning in the LEAST BIT.
That's not to say Booker isn't talented, that he isn't a good young prospect, that he isn't having a good season...... but the way some of you guys frame it, it's like he's a top 15 talent RIGHT NOW.... and he has no effect on improving his team.
