Air maxs will have you rolling your ankle with how high it is above the ground.

I hooped in some lunarlon running shoes out of preference cause i blew my basketball shoes money on retros that had abysmal traction. That wasnt that bad cause they were low to the ground.
Yeah I just wanted to see the difference. Feet felt lighter but missed that support. Luckily I didn't have any injuries and I already had bad ankles

tbh, LAC season is one of the nuttier ones

Take Utah or Indy for example. They don't have any All-Stars either yet they each have at least a center who are in the discussion for DPOY and Gobert may be selected for All NBA as well. Plus Indy plays in the east. Plus LAC traded away Tobias ANDDDD Boban :wow:

At the start of the year if you said 1 team out of LAC, LAL (and Lebby would miss a month), NOP , Memphis and Minny will make the playoffs, LAC would def been the least likely for me

Gotta put some respek on dem

Damn Orlando actually won last night smh, i much rather see D-Wade in one last playoff series than watching the Magic.

LeBron is going to be 35 years old next year. There’s no magical “refocus” that he needs/is going to do. The bad thing is this is as good as LeBron is ever going to be as a Laker.
I agree but you have a bunch of people saying next year will be his come back year and he will win the MVP.

Lebron has plenty left although he is a frontrunner so if he gets help that is the narrative they'll push but tbh I don't see him having one of those Kobe Bryant of Brett favre late career amazing seasons. Totally different mentality.

LeBron's playoff and championship teams have the highest television rating since Micheal Jordan. The largest dip in viewership was when the Spurs and the Shaq and Kobe led Lakers were in the playoffs. Kobe Bryant led teams didn't increase viewership at any point, at all.

The NBA is about to be hit with another dip this year.

LeBron is averaging 27-9-8 in the least minutes he’s ever played in his career. There’s no going up from here with his play on offense and they still couldn’t even make the playoffs. Defensively he isn’t going to magically start wanting to try again for the first time in 5+ years.

Who cares about ratings. We get to see Giannis, Kawhi, Myrie and Embiid

The game is bigger than one guy. Always has been

The NBA and its investors care about ratings. The players care about ratings because it increases playoff shares. Advertisers care, as do endorsers. Back in the day, the NBA was on tape delay. Dr.J was bigger than the game, Jordan, and now LeBron. The NBA needs that player that makes people who do not love the game, want to watch.

Look at the Clippers getting it done, with no “stars”

Take notes Lakers...

Getting what done?

A few things,

1. It’s silly to have firm rules for who should celebrate what and when in sports. Context matters, as usual.

2. The Clippers popped a bottle. One. Not like it was a full-on championship celebration.

3. Think it was a **** you moment to all the experts who doubted them as much as it was a celebration of a playoff berth. Probably wouldn’t have happened if they weren’t pretty universally projected to win 33 games. Again, context.

4. #GoClippers #ClipperNation :nthat:

Does this mean you changed your mind and aren't going to stop watching clipper games?

The will be ok, they see the cash cow at Duke coming in next year.

The players don’t care about ratings. That playoff share isn’t even close to what they make during the regular season. You think these dudes in the league are sweating over an extra $200 racks? Especially the superstars?

Steph curry has that in his little pocket

The media is real funny. People already saying Zion is a top 50 player in the world and a coach saying he'll be in the HOF. Just skipping over the development process and usual struggles we see from these 1 and done players.
gotta aim high

well see though, already excited for next season to see him play

Older guys was there any backlash around Shaq getting put into the 50 Greatest Players Ever list which was basically just a prediction call?

I don't even remember there being much backlash around calling a 17 year old kid The Chosen One and basically saying he was guaranteed to be the second best ever and no one ever backed off it.

That is where the team concept comes in. You play for the last player on the bench, who does not have the big contract.

I mean you asked 'who cares'. He gave you a decent answer..
