i think magic sees a sinking ship and he has decided to bail.....he doesnt want to be part of failure.....imo its looking more and more that lakers are going to strike out in free agency. their best shot is odd ball kyrie and they didnt have enough for NO for AD at deadline why would they have it now? and AD has said after this mess he is open to more teams.

if lakers don't get a major FA and can't trade for AD not only has this been a huge failure they have to trade lebron for pennies on the dollar....epic embarrassment is on the horizon

lebron will be on the nets or mavs by end of summer....book it

As a proud member of ALA I'm conflicted. On one hand this is hilarious and definitely a moment to relish in the short-term.
But in the long-term Magic would've done great things to advance the ALA cause. Still, this is definitely a moment to celebrate :pimp:

Magic on E or something...

I've been screaming at the top of my lungs in this thread for years now and Non Beta's working with Lebron... It's never gonna work. the media was literally writing articles blaming magic for all of this as if Lebron could never do wrong.

So Magic want to be able to mentor superstars and effect their lives? Dude might have been fired and was told he should step down to save face.

In a way this is a good thing, but in another way we kinda know the Lakers are gonna hire someone with a ****** track record.

Magic made a whole lot excused during that conference when he could’ve just said, “I suck at my job and I can’t devote the proper time that’s why I’m stepping down”

You didn’t wanna fire Luke?
Wut?

Don't know why people are taking his words at face value
