Defense has its own weird narrative where it’s simply comes down to reputation I feel.
I don’t even know why else Gobert would win it over Giannis. Giannis simply does more on defense lol.

The defensive awards are more stat oriented. Jazz were 2nd in defensive rating this season (105.7) and Bucks were 1st (105.4). Honestly I'd have no problem with either winning. Rudy is number 1 in DRPM while Giannis is 12th. DWS- Giannis (5.5) Rudy (5.7).

It's going to be close with DPOTY though. MVP is more encompassing with team success plus numbers historically. It's why so few of the leading scorers in the NBA have one it in the past 20 years.

That's what I'm saying, gobert is only marginally better than giannis but the jazz are a 5 seed and the bucks have the best record in the league. That should nudge the score over to Giannis

wow thats just sad to hear man pathetic i might even say. something needs to change for the future of our team
he easily got tendinitis in his knee he needs to understand it will never truly heal. It dont help we are a fast pace team and he avg almost 38mins a damn game
its not just going be like poof gone. him resting a few days does absolutely nada for him, that next game he comes back the pain will still be there lingering in his knee
not having a legit back up C to help is so ******* dumb.. this team never fails to disappoint and playoffs aint even start yet
