I didn't think Monty did a standout job for the majority of his stint in NOLA, but at the same time I thought he was unjustly fired too.

See this is exactly why I kinda wanted to keep him. The illusion of stability. Terrible but likeable coach so it looks bad when you fire him even tho he deserves it. Luke had spats with several players but sure, narratives

MLGA will laugh at you, but it’s not a bad package at all. SGA and Shamet are super cheap for the next 3 years. Get a year of Galo and Trez who have proven they can be successful together and can then re-sign Trez if you want. I’m on record for not thinking that Heat pick is going to be as incredible as some other folks think, but it’s something.
