It's literally no benefit to have CP3 on your team at this point in his career with that contract.

Especially an organization that looks like it's trying to grow as organically as possible.

CP3 would be better suited as ring chaser, but he can't unless there's some way I don't know about to clean up that contract.

This thread nasty :sick::emoji_mask:.

#MyTeamS could never be this dysfunctional.

also seeing How the Kawhi trade worked out for the Raptors.... why didn't Philly make that offer last summer? I got it at the time, they had a young nucleous & wanted to continue to grow.... But instead they traded off all their pieces to win now, in trades for Jimmy & Tobias.

If they were gonna force it why not go after Kawhi. It's not like either Jimmy or Tobias are locks to stay

Because the Spurs wanted Simmons

Probably cuz the Spurs wanted Simmons.

The 6ers shoulda still gave him up with the quickness but too many people think he's "a jumper away from being Lebron".

All NBA level dudes who are competing for championships get tired of CP3, i can't even imagine him dealing with a team full of young guys who ain't even cracked 25 wins in their career yet.

Depending on how the Bucks summer goes i could see them trying to do a Bledsoe/Hill/2nd rounder for CP3 out of desperation.

Rockets wouldn't be as good but it atleast gives them some flexibility going forward & Bledsoe can still be moved on a relatively decent deal.

Milwaukee is an interesting fit. That'd actually be worth taking a risk if you're trying win now with Giannis.

Doesn't sound terrible. I'm a Bledsoe fan but he really hurt the Bucks on offense. Need someone who can a bucket or two late in the game when Giannis starts running out of steam and is getting frustrated.

He’s not as good as harden so Houston should have the ball in harden’s hands more but Chris Paul is still really good when given long reps as an actual pg

He would look better in a system where he could play PnR, a little more movement. He just doesn’t have the size or burst to beat guys off the bounce anymore but that doesn’t mean he still can’t be a really good guard

That contract is bad though

That's the thing tho, fit wise i think Milwaulkee would be a great look, but that contract pretty much Handicaps the Bucks in terms of getting better. With that said even w/o Signing back Brogdon, Lopez or Mirotic and cutting George Hill's salary (non guaranteed) they are only at about 25 million this summer (that's not accounting for the HIGH probability Middleton opts out, which will eat atleast another 13-17 mil of that). They are gonna be capped out anyway unless they wanna renounce everyone & try to start over

Yea that's the thing if you're going to be capped out anyway after resigning Middleton and Brogdon midas whale try and get an upgrade over Bledsoe.

Chris Paul is washed. This year was worse than last year, next year will be worse than this year. Teams would have to be super thirsty to make that purchase
