Embiid was in amazing shape throughout the entire regular season. Then after the All Star break he started having the knee tendinitis and they rested him a bunch down the stretch and that ****** him. The issue with Embiid is he gets out of shape quick. So once he started missing a bunch of those practices and games his body was done for.

Embiid's career is really mirroring yao mings. Amazing players but wont be a full 82 game season player in their prime. If I'm not mistaken they both had the same surgery on their foot.

Yes, but Yao was forced to play in China every summer. It's scary that its a similar injury and they are similar sizes, but the Sixers are taking every precaution possible to extend his career (which wasn't done with Yao), i believe big Z also had it early in his career but recovered and had a long career.

It seemed like a good trade at the time, but looking back at Elton, his moves now feels like trade machine trades rather than something that was a little more methodical.
Everyone agreed that it was a good trade at the time and Tobi was a perfect fit. We played so much better with him on the floor.
I still love everything he brings and would love to have him back, it just needs to be at the right price.

1. Situation is just like one many years (and injuries) ago where he was successful.
2. All they have to do is run everything through him despite him not being the best player on the team, and it'll all work out.
