I think this is more realistic too. It's the Pistons who are desperate to move Blake's contract, not Atlanta.

Also, where the hell is all this coming from?

Honestly as soon as I saw Blake and Trae’s tweets yesterday I put two and two together and it would seem to make a lot of sense. Then idk if people on Twitter were thinking the same thing or if they had legit info on it but it seems to be gaining some steam.
 
David Thorpe is plugged in with Masai Uriji and he’s been reporting that Leonard will stay in Toronot on a short term deal.

Idk how much sense that makes given his injury history. I would assume he’d sign for 4-5 years.

I think he can sign for a bigger portion of the salary cap in a couple years. So a short term deal might make sense depending on injuries

The Thorpe report from the weekend claims that he'll sign a 1-2 year extension

Yup there's another cap spike coming and he'll be eligible for the 35% max in a couple seasons.
