They were going to get rid of Crabbe anyway. So I’m not upset with the trade. Even without Kyrie. They likely just wouldn’t have been so eager to take a deal on it. They had made out on the DeMarre Carroll Trade a couple years ago with picks so it all evens out. But still is pretty laughable if it’s not KD or Kawhi with Kyrie.

Especially when they can keep the superior player in Russell and recoup picks by trading Dinwiddie.

So if the nets gave up assets for cap room that they didnt actually need and then let dlo go to the suns for nothing....will you become a suns fan?

Only if he gets less than 25 mil over the longer term deal. Same thing with Horford. It's actually smart to do it now when everybody has cap space. Next year that won't be the case and it'll be tougher to get a long term deal unless you're a star.
