Jesus Christ, man.

Not so much for the AD trade, that was more Griff and Rich Paul's relationship. I'm talking moreso if he brings that 3rd star in after everybody and their mama said no top free agents would sign here this summer. And the minutia he's apparently been into with orchestrating this trade to get everything in order to make that possible. He'll definitely shut up all his haters.
He will get minimal credit from me for a 3rd max when clearly it’ll be a domino from Lebby signing and bringing Davis over

There’s nothing special about that

Lebby and rich would deserve exec of the decade more than anyone in that front office

Although i feel like Chris Paul has definitely lost a step or 2, I don't believe that he's as washed as most think. I just don't understand why the rockets would pay him 40m+ a year to be a fire hydrant in the corner while harden dribbles the clock out.

I think both harden and Chris Paul have blame, but I think cp3 is more right than harden.

I mean when is the last time you saw harden do anything off ball that was worth a used condom?
No off ball cuts, no screens, no coming off down screens or floppy actions,no zippers, no movement. The Houston offense even got to a point at times where they didn't even set screens for harden. Even with all that said, they weren't far off from gsw even as full strength...pre or maybe they were.

To basketball purists, the rockets analytic approach, mda coaching or lack thereof and hardens style is infuriating.

If harden doesn't have the ball in his hand, he's disinterested and disengaged.

When harden draws double teams, there's no player movement from the other 4 rockets on court at all.

MDA shouldve been fired and it's a shame for that team (and the Celtics) that they will most likely go down as clubs that never reached their potential.

DFox, Bagley, Buddy, Bogdan, and Al..that is a playoff team in the west. not sure about Kings' depth but that starting unit would be :pimp: 4 dudes on the court that could hit from the perimeter. de'aaron gonna have his pick of the litter on drive and kicks; PnR action with horford would be lethal.

if they dont get horford, would be funny if DCuzz made his way back to Sacramento. i'm sure the price would be right for Sac

#realmillennialcore

That would be a fun *** team. I feel like it has to be them or the Mavs. Only teams with money to do it that would make sense fit wise.

Said it in the team thread, if it's Dallas and they can't afford to bring in a secondary playmaker over the next few years that wouldn't be very smart

I wonder if teams really are getting worse at drafting.
When Frank Ntilikina gets drafted 8th you know this statement is true. T3ams seem to be drafting based off what they think a player will become according to the advanced metric algorithms. :lol vs actually watching people play nowadays

Woj also said yesterday the Sixers are intent on keeping Jimmy, Tobias and JJ. We’ll see if we actually pay Tobias what he wants though.

They’re always a European dude outta nowhere that gets drafted top 10. Some just pan out, and others don’t

If the Mavs give that kinda money to a guy that’ll be on his last leg when the KP/Luka window actually opens.... Man.

Basketball fit, great. But the window just isn’t open with those two guys yet and locking Horford in makes anything else tough moving forward. No thanks.

I’ve heard Horford to the Nets is a good possibility as well

There's American dudes that don't pan out, Australian dudes that don't pan out, canadian etc. It wasn't a knock on Frank being a euro player but rather pointing out that it seems like he was a bad draft decision at #8

I was saying euro solely b/c of the mention of Frank. Dante Exum is Australian and never panned out, so yes, I’m aware. Just saying it’s always been like that. I don’t think that means teams are necessarily getting worse at drafting. drafts have always been a crapshoot and will continue to be

I think having the first NBA championship team without a lottery pick on the team lends credence to the thought that teams are getting worse at it. It could be just a coincidence but I don't think so. The 1 and done rule could play a hand in it imo. It's ****** up when staying in college and working on your craft puts you at a disadvantage when entering the draft. DDot outplayed Frank from day 1 but was getting sent to the G league because he was a 2nd rd pick despite a better resume.
