The allure of Lonzo was too strong and the NBA is a business so people was going to tune in with him being on the Lakers. We saw what happened during the Summer League. It'll be cool to see DLo back but as it been said a few pages back, all-star yes but as a replacement.

Lonzo falling into our lap + getting rid of Mozgovs contract made it an easy decision

The drama off the court and the (obviously wrong, including me) belief that his ceiling was low and he was only gonna get marginally better over the years made it a slam dunk.

The idea floating around locally is they're supposedly looking to get Charlotte into some sort of S&T scenario for Kemba and sending out Jalen Brunson and a couple other young pieces to create a little more cap wiggle room. The idea is to lump Courtney Lee's expiring into it and then stretch THJ to create extra room.

Seems like a long shot, but who knows.
