You say this now but you’ll be screaming in the parade next year saying “lebron, lebron thank you bro, can you please sign my smush Parker laker Jersey?”

I'll be thanking AD for coming and saving this clown from destroying my team.

Did I miss something? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the Lakers traded DLo because of the snitching he did turning the lockerroom against him. What other options did the Lakers have in that situation.

I don't think either side should be holding grudges based on how things played out.

Lakers needed 2 max cap spots last year to try for 2/3 of Lebron, Durant, PG. They needed to get off Moz & Deng’s contract so they attached Dlo to Moz to the Nets. The Nets also gave us a draft pick in the trade that turned into Kyle Kuzma.

The Lakers only got 1 max FA but it was worth the risk because that 1 directly led to Unibrow.

The snitching **** didn’t help Dlo tho

The prodigal son really about to return. What a story.

Max was flaming him the entire show today.

Max forever gets a pass with me now.

I dont think D Lo would be mad at the trade cuz thats business...its the fact that they made him out to be a cancer and a bum on his way out, whose replacement was bout to break all of Magic's records and bring em back to glory :lol

I'm on record as saying I get why new management wanted to start over with somebody else, they just threw dirt on his name when they traded him

I like how Magic is trying to get all up in the videos talking about how he’s been texting Jeanie about having to get AD.

Man shutup.

Why you put even in front like I’m some kind of dumbass

Comparing In-his-prime Durant coming off a 3-1 lead against GS to a 23 year old Dlo coming off his rookie contract doesn’t make sense.

If you’re saying why did that **** matter for Durant and not Dlo it’s simple: Kevin Durant is one of the best players of all time and shifts the balance of power in the nba with his movement.

Dlo would be a 3rd option lol.

Fam...how many times do I have to say that I'm not comparing each and every aspect of both situations  Is that what the point of a comparison is? Aren't there going to be varying factors when comparing MOST things?

You understand full well what I'm saying...you've admitted as such several times. Yet you keep bringing up everything about the two that makes it different...when my argument isn't that they're the exact same. I don't give a **** about the "power of balance in the nba". If your counters are going to continue to be pointing out everything that's different about KD's free agency and D-LO's...you win that argument...because that's not the argument I'm making

I'm not calling them the same. I'm not trying to rank them on a scale of "weak".

Oh, I definitely didn't know that. I'd probably be petty in that case.

Once again, the only person to guarantee Kawhi to the Clippers was MVP MVP . He also said AD was not going to the Lakers multiple times. He also has said Kawhi is not going to the Lakers over and over again. Unless he is also getting pid by Ballmer. The last month was worst case scenario for the Clippers.

KD tears achilles
Klay tears ACL
Kawhi wins a championship

Those were the three players we had been linked to the most and none of them should come to the Clippers now. You guys get upset because reporters have us ahead of you guys for Kawhi. Vegas has us ahead of you guys. But instead of thinking maybe there’s something to that, you guys have constructed this scenario where the media has a vendetta against you guys. You spend all year talking about the Lakers being the most popular team in America. But now ESPN hates you guys? Wouldn’t it make more sense to report positively on the Lakers?

Ya'll do realize that every time speaks on the Clippers it isn't exclusive to the three resident clippers fans in this thread right?? like there's Clippers fans that exist out of this thread. there are social media postings, there are reporters etc etc...

Also let's not act like every report of "superstar A" leads to the entire Lakers fanbase saying that person is 100% signing. Of course we speculate & create scenarios because we would obviously want those players on our team. Clippers fans have done the same all season with most of those names, Knicks fans have done the same also, same with Nets fans.

out of the top names the only guy i think the fanbase overwhelmingly thought was coming to L.A over the past two years were Lebron, PG & AD... everyone else was speculated about.

Also i never felt that Kawhi was a lock here for the same reason i've stated since before Lebron was a Laker (which many people dismissed as "Lebron Hate") Everyone doesn't wanna play next to him & the environment the media creates around him... so i don't care that the media has ya'll as "favorites" what i do care about however is the media instead of just talking about the Clippers chances at signing a Star player.... they must bring the Lakers into everything and act as if we somehow have no shot or that Kawhi or other FA wouldn't consider going here.

They did it all year with Lebron for him to ultimately sign here, they've done it with every FA going into this FA period.... they did it with AD, then when we get AD the same mediocre assets that N.O would be foolish to take... suddenly turned into the biggest haul for a superstar ever. This isn't some made up thing, clearly it isn't every media outlet... but when speculative stories are being run like facts... and include topics such as who's Jeanie Buss acquaintances & the random employee that Magic apparently berated so bad they had to have therapy.......... it becomes pretty obvious some reporters are throwing a lot of sauce on these situations & that's just as valuable as good laker news also.

Doesn't Dlo come out on top if the Lakers dumped him, threw dirt on his name on his way out, then two years later come to him and go hey big head. He signs back with the Lakers and he'd be looking like the guy who won.

But he'd have to preform ASAP because a good chunk of the fanbase despises the guy. People would criticize his damn hair. That's how petty the fanbase was.

BREAKING NEWS: Sources say MVP MVP isn't fond of Lebron James and probably never will be. Despite my fairly elected position at NT Laker spokesman, my opinions do not reflect the entirety of the fanbase.

I am also part of Lakers Nation & I am not fond of Lebron James..... with that said i will not wish failure upon him while he's on my team just so i won't get put on the "Summerjam Screen" by another poster who is also constantly wrong.

As much as I hated the trade, it was the best thing for D'Lo.

You think he wouldn't have matured in LA? I can see that. But also one could argue, who really is mature at 19-20 years old, especially when surrounded by such an unstable organization.

I really don't know. I think the guy needed a stable franchise to be on his ***. Both parties' fault.

Magic is definitely about self preservation first. He said BBB was going to have his name in the rafters, and then was going to put him as well as the rest of the team on the first plane smoking to New Orleans.

D'Lo admitted he wasn't mature at the time and the trade was a wake up call for him. With all the turmoil that's gone on with the Lakers since he left that probably wouldn't have been the most conducive environment for him to be at the level he's at today. Maybe now is the perfect time for him to come back in his own mind. We'll see.

Rich said AD would have wanted to come to the Lakers independently of Bron cause we "J-Lo" remember.

If the Lakers traded Lebron, Anthony Davis would leave next summer.

J-Lo comments were nice & play a part but we all know what the deal is.
