I dont think they'll leave but it would make some sense.

The fan support in Seattle would be through the roof. You have automatic rivalries with the Lakers blazers and okc.

Plus theres a ton of talent coming from the Washington area, you might have luck in free agency getting guys to come home.

If you stay in LA you're hoping to take some of the market share away from the Lakers. We were the worst team in the league for the past few years, the clips were in the playoffs every year and still didnt make a dent.

Nah Chris is well connected with Kawhi and his uncle. Going back to the whole fiasco with the Spurs last year.
