Kawhi is grimey. Dude's camp asked the Lakers to delay the AD trade just to buy him time while the Clippers were trying to bring in PG.
Meanwhile, the Raps balked at getting PG because Kawhi wasn't willing to commit.
What I don't understand is if he was set on the Clippers, why he didn't reach out to KD, Kyrie, Jimmy, etc during the season rather than waiting last second. Clippers gave up the farm for PG whereas if Kawhi somehow convinced a big free agent to go there, the Clippers could've used their assets to further beef up the team.
Even with Kawhi and PG, the Clippers will have their work cut out for them as they'll need to go through a brutal West.
