simmons not playing in the fiba World Cup just goes to show you that he wants to try a become a better ball player
He IS putting that work in this summer to help improve.. hopefully
im also tired of hearing about practice but for him to step down from FIBA to at least shows he wants to get better

My biggest problem with Simmons is he haven't shown flashes of improvement.
I would still consider shooting a major weakness for Giannis but throughout the years some games if he has his confidence going he'll hit jump shots. So the pattern goes Giannis hits multiple jump shots in a row one game, maybe next game he doesn't do as well. And so on.
But with Ben the pattern is he ALWAYS refuses to shoot.
why risk getting hurt after just signing a big contract in a FIBA tourney before a possibly big season for the sixers coming up ? we can keep going back and forth
i like your point though.. just not necessary for him to attend though IMO

That’s fair. But he’s going to be hooping this summer anyways. There’s always a risk of getting hurt. Say you don’t want to get hurt, not that you’re working on your game because you can do both
