NBA>>

The USA has nothing to prove against the world, especially the very best Americans. Rather have the NBA have the most healthy and rested players as possible
Yea what do NBA players honestly gain from Team USA? I guess notches in your HOF Candidacy .

Putting miles on your body through structure for a month out of YOUR breakTime. Nah.

And pleaae save the patriotism talk

The National scene is a pretty good opp for the younger Americans. I think there's some elements those guys can get in that developmental stage that pickup games and training might not offer them

I thought we were talking about the Elite talent that don't want to compete though.

But I can agree with you, there are some elements they can pick up but if someone decides resting and relaxing in the summer is even more beneficial, I would also agree and see their stance.

Right now, all Black players should boycott the team anyway, due to the Orange Sphincter being in office. The you can leave the country comment, needs to become a talking point for professional players right now. Why play for a country that does not feel that you belong?!
F Team USA.

Yeah I was meaning for guys like a Kuzma, Mitchell, Myles Turner etc. To get around some different coaching, different perspectives, make you open your mind to different ways of thought, the team angle, still winning at a pretty high level... I think it's good for those types of players to take the next step

Easy for us to say that we wouldn't pass it up.

Imagine playing in the playoffs, wanting to enjoy your summer and time off and then having to COMMIT to aomething else that you probably don't even care about.

It is VERY easy to see why so many folks drop out. What is in it for them?

This same points apply to the Olympics, but the Olympics is a much bigger spectacle and you have the draw of being able to go to other events and hang out in the village. I think those are the reasons why fewer NBA guys drop out of the Olympics than FIBA.

And speaking of the Olympics, given what’s happened with the NT MILF threads, I have grave concern we will be denied having a Women of the 2020 Olympics next Summer. I’m bracing myself...

I'm mulling Cs over Raps and Clips over Lakers for regular-season wins. Leaning LAL over HOU but honestly, no one knows how the "Beard" and Russy combo will mesh until we see the actual product on the court.
