The West also just got significantly better and they're not adding any high-impact guys.

They're irrelevant for 2019.

Lol

Two teams got significantly better and both of them will have growing pains along the way trying to figure things out. The Rockets got a more talented player but we aren’t sure about the fit. The Nuggets essentially stayed the same, the Blazers got worse and the Thunder are now irrelevant.

The Spurs have the best coach in the league and are probably the deepest in quality players next to the Nuggets in the league. So I’ll say it again...they’re gonna win a bunch of regular season games in a league where stars rest and the rest of the roster behind them isn’t the quality of players the Spurs have. Not saying they’re about to win the championship, but they’re winning at least two more games than last year.

How do we know Lonnie Walker, Keldon Johnson, Samanic are any good? Samanic and Johnson were low-1st round picks in what was universally regarded as a bad draft class.

Lyles isn't good. Carroll's toast. Poeltl's a big bucket of Meh. Lonnie Walker wasn't good in the games he did play last year. Bryn Forbes is fine, but you gonna play him and Murray together for massive minutes against the other guards in the West? LOL. Toast.

That roster isn't nearly as deep in talent as you're suggesting it is.

The Spurs gave 4 legitimate bodies in LMA, DeKobe, White, abs Murray. With no superstars and honestly borderline all stars. In this revamped west that's not a recipe for success.

Lakers and Clippers both got better. Nuggets will be better simply by keeping a group of actual young talent together. The Jazz got better. The Rockets were already clearly better and will mop the floor with the Spurs. The Blazers are still better on paper. Golden State's still better on paper.

The Spurs aren't going to win 50 games. No freaking way.

The term "depth" needs to be contextualized. Not all depth is good depth.

If any other team besides the Spurs had their roster we wouldn't be talking about them as a top 6 seed in the West

On the contrary. If this were 2017 we'd be hearing all kinda hype about Kyle Anderson, Davis Bertrans, Brandon Paul and joffrey lauvergne

15 warm bodies=depth

I legit went back and looked because I thought maybe I missed something... Shoulda known it's just buc em buc em being a god damn clown again. :lol

That roster isn't better than a single one of the playoff teams from last year outside now OKC. It may not be decidedly better than Sacramento. Depending on where Zion is Day 1 they're in a conversation. If KP's fully healthy and Luka doesn't hit a sophomore regression, Dallas has the two best players on either roster.

I actually do like the Spurs’ young guards. White and Forbes were solid and now Murray is back and Walker was a prospect I was high on in college but he had that injury last year.
LMA and Demar are really putting a hold on their rebuild and keeping them in purgatory though.

Not seeing the PT for Hart in this Pelicans rotation. IMO he'll get minuets in the beginning of the year but once the Pelicans see that NAW needs to be on the court it'll be a wrap for Hart

Spurs have become the Atlanta Hawks ever since Kawhi left. A team that gets celebrated for being consistently mediocre

Pelicans not sniffing the playoffs unless Zion plays like the ROY.

Or if Ingram and Ball have MIP type seasons. They can be competitive.

C: Jaxon Hayes/ Jahlil
PF: Zion/ Derrick Favors
SF: Ingram/ Moore
SG: Holiday/ Reddick
PG: Ball/ Hart
