With the new lottery odds, not even sure that they're incentivized to go all out and tank. They're not trash... They're middle of the pack which is worse than being trash. Consistently making the playoffs and losing in the first round is the least optimal scenario for a team in my opinion. The fact that they're content in doing so is frustrating

In a year like this one. With how the rosters are shaping up, a team built like the Spurs can sneak away with a chip.
Especially with Pop coaching.

The caller then made several threatening remarks which appear to be directed at head coach Billy Donovan and Thunder management. The caller said he wants to “kill everybody,” hopes that Russell Westbrook returns to kill everyone in the organization, wants to spit on everyone’s mothers, urinate on their children, “beat the **** out of everybody[’s] kid that work there,” and bomb Oklahoma City if he were ever to visit.
The caller then left another voicemail seven minutes later, at 1:19 a.m., where he acknowledged that what he said was “disrespectful ****,” but he stood by his comments. He then changed his tone on Westbrook and asked why the team didn’t trade him instead. At that point, the transcript reads “(male sounds like he is beginning to cry).” After calling Westbrook “a bum [...] a ******* bum,” he then turns his threats toward general manager Sam Presti. He starts with a standard “I hope you ****in die, cuz,” then it becomes truly unhinged.
Did you see what Jokic did to them?
Took all 7 games to beat them while they didn’t even have Murray or five other key players in their rotation that they’ll be adding on to their roster this year. Nuggets will be very good but the Spurs are gonna be tough man.
Conversely, the Spurs with the coaching advantage and player experience lost to a young team led by two kids. Usually those old teams that lose to young teams in the playoffs are pretty much dead.
And I’m cool on dejounte Murray until he can shoot. The defense is great but he was tucked in the short corner on offense last time we say him and that’s not going to fly as a guard
Kangz will be on the Spurs bumper again. Maybe even the pelicans
This isn’t an old team dude. That’s what I don’t think people understand. They’re thinking TP and Manu are still out there or some ****.
They have two All-Stars still playing at a real high level, Gay has been really solid for them and their only vets on the bench are Belinelli, Patty and Carroll. The rest of the team is deep as hell with youth.
More like the Blazers bumper. Both the Kings and Pelicans have more talent than the Blazers.
LMA just turned 34. DeKobe will be 30. Rudy is 32. 2 other key rotation guys are over 30.
All that to be the 7th seed. I’m cool. The Spurs allure is wearing off
I don’t think those “two other key rotation guys over 30” aka Belinelli and Mills are even getting much burn with Murray, White, Forbes, Lonnie and Keldon in the fold.
And I think, barring health and/or them trading Derozan/LMA, they’re finishing higher than the 7th seed.

Folks talk bad about cp3, but facts are, he's a 20/10 guy per 36min with harden off the floor.
He's lost a step, but if he finds the right home (especially in the east) he'll be ok
That game in Oracle without Harden was vintage CP3. He can still go. He just can’t blow that hamstring again or he’s stuck in OKC.Folks talk bad about cp3, but facts are, he's a 20/10 guy per 36min with harden off the floor.
