Official 2019 NYK offseason thread. Brooklyn knick fans check in

It’s easy to see why players like Fizdale. He builds you up and younger players need that.

Knox has to get out of drifting from game to game and learn to establish himself.

If the young gunnas pick it up and start winning early i'm ok with it. I really want to see their development, don't restrict them if that's how it's going.

Winning games looks a lot better to free agents this summer than a top 5 pick does

Gotta decide what’s more of a priority because neither are guaranteed

Basically how I feel.

If we're winning, it better be because of the young guys.

a lot of the production is coming from kanter and timmy... so those arent really the young guys... but burke, mudiay and trier have stepped up but still no production from frank or knox smh

yea im conflicted about these W's lol

The game shouldnt be based on losing to win later on but

Zion man

lol help

Gonzaga is that nice they shut Zion down or was it just an off game. I wish I had watched Duke lose

Yeah what is Knox deal?

Does he just not give a ****?

Dude looks so whatever when he’s on the floor and is just going through the motions

If we were guaranteed Zion then yes tank and tank hard. We're not even guaranteed a top 3 pick with the rule changes.

There's still good prospects outside the top 3 Duke kids.

Garland, Porter Jr., Hachimura, Little, Grimes, etc.

Looks to me like the team may be trying to build up some of our players (Kanter especially) to trade them before the AS game. Wouldn't be surprised if we do the same for Lee. Someone's minutes is going to get cut.

Knox is concerning but its still early in the season. Frank has been....well Frank. Mudiay playing really well. The best I've seen him play since he's been in the league.

I hate these new draft rules but the wins really won't hurt us in the long run. But if Cleveland somehow gets the #1 pick again, I will flip.

I think he cares alot. His frustration is clear most times. He's just not good.

Yeah, he seems to be having a hard time adjusting. Being out so long with the injury didn’t help either. Him and Mitch are definitely having a hard time on defense.

What are the new draft rules? Other than you have to be 19?

the new draft odds.

i'm only half joking. good to see young players gain some confidence, especially ones who were deemed "not part of our plans going forward" by other teams. i'm with the idea of having them develop and win games, but hopefully not a the expense of our draft pick opportunities. it's a weird balance. the frustration i've felt when they get to the end of the season and all of a sudden go on win streaks has made me bald over the years. i can't get those follicles back man
