Despite being the best wing defender on the team, it may be time for Fiz to bench Frank for Dotson.

Been saying about frank a bust...dude is not good. Plain and simple. Not even average. I would trade him to be honest. Just don’t see it with him.
Knox really concerning me too. Has not looked one bit like the guy we saw during the summer. He’s going to need the off season to adjust.
I think fiz has been trying to give the young guys minutes but some of them are just not up to the task. Unfortunately, frank and Knox just not there yet. Dotson has been killing it.

Send Frank to the G league before giving up.
Knox just looks like a boy playing against men. I believe he will be the guy we saw in summer league with some seasoning and regained composure.
Mitch will be fine as well with the experience.
Trier has 3 years of college experience and it shows.

Sending Frank to the G League could be the worst thing we could do. He's going to struggle there. His strength is just on ball defense, and he'll get exposed. I don't think we're going to trade him, but he'd be totally untradeable when he avgs 8 3 and 3 in the G-League
Just have to accept that he's not a starter level player. He has the work ethic and his shooting stroke is decent enough that I think he can be a rotation guard that plays defense, like a Tony Allen/Roberson type. But its going to take time, because he is that unathletic and unskilled. I'm not sure he's capable of ever being better on offense than what Dotson already is now.
I don't think Philly would take it, but I'd trade Frank and a 2 for Fultz, especially if we can include Courtney Lee. I don't think any big FAs are coming this offseason, and the upside is worth it.

Frank is too passive for his own good. If he took the same pride in defending he did on offense you’d have a dependable 2 way guard.

For all the people that always put Franks D is amazing this is how I look at it.
Example: Curry vs Wall. Curry Drops 30, Wall Drops 20.
Curry vs Frank. Curry Drops 24 due to his “amazing defense” Frank Drops 4pts.
How is that helping? You give up waaay to much offense with Frank on the court especially in today’s game where teams are consistently dropping over a 100 points a game.
Also by Frank being ZERO threat on offense it allows the other teams D to sag off him and allow easier access for help D which makes it harder for our other players to score. Vice a guard that’s a threat to score makes it easier for our other players to score Because the D has to be more focused on him.
