People need to realize that drafting in the 7-12 range you cant expect much.

In the last 15 years, out of the 90 players drafted in that range, 10 were all stars. Look at the others, mostly bums or journey men.

I'm not going to lie, I didn't know who Frank was and as soon as they said his name i youtube him, i was like wth is this. Dude seemed slowed, not really skilled and def not NBA worthy.

But I still never hates on the kid. I was dissapointed though!

No it's not. Its an individual stat based on his personal shooting percentage. No one else on the roster comes close.

Another factor for the hate he gets is the way some of y'all have irrationally justified all of his shortcomings. Like you're doing now

We're not justifying it. I've been said he sucks. But idc that he sucks since we as a team suck even more.

But I've never seen someone whose 20 years old get as much hate as he does. Like what other 20 year old in the NBA is this hated by their fanbase?

realistically what do you expect from frank like what is his ceiling? Why does his age define his potential? hes a project no way around it... you develop him and its either hes good or not no in between.... besides his decent defense what has he shown you to have some faith in his potential?

He's a project and I dont think he'll ever reach his potential. But his defense and IQ is clear. When he's on the floor the little plays he makes are winning plays. He's probably our best PnR passer too.

Not ready to give up on him until he's surrounded by good players so these little plays actually make differences in the outcome of games. All great teams had players like this (Bowen, Battier, Horry, etc etc).

Idk if he's a point guard or 2 guard, but i'm not ready to trade a lottery pick still on their rookie contract (unless its for a star ofc).

See what I mean...y'all keep deflecting on to other players and scenarios every time the discussion is brought up. This is not about Dennis Smith Jr or anyone else. Knicks suck and Mitch has the highest eFG in the entire league, Dotson also has a good eFG%.
