The Pelicans have ZERO direction, no young assets and no bright spots in their future

Even with Zion, AD ain’t staying and nobody signing to play there. Dude is stuck in NBA purgatory

Feel like once the Pelicans strike out in free agency we’ll be primed with the best package for AD

There’s no way they turn down pairing RJ with Zion when ain’t **** else there

I’m still optimistic as hell

Sucks not getting Zion but I think this team is on the up and up, especially if we get KD and Kemba (fellow Bronx native) this offseason.

We can just get KD and add a bunch of top tier role players like: Tobias Harris, Paul Millsap/Marcus Morris, Demarcus Cousins (could be a low risk, high reward player), Kris Middleton, Patrick Beverly, Jimmy Butler, or a JJ Reddick (3 names on that list is likely). You don’t need a big 3. You can follow the Bucks mold a groom your team around 1 superstar and still be favorites to represent the East in the NBA Finals. Taking KD from the Warriors gives us a decent shot of winning it all (I’m super optimistic).

Realistically I think we can get KD, Kyrie or Kemba, Millsap, Reddick, and Patrick Beverly. I’d offer a mid-level to Cousins, and still draft RJ Barrett or Ja Morant if he falls to #3. If he does, we can scrap Kemba and look to add Jimmy Butler, who can be cheaper than Kemba or Kyrie.

All wishful thinking but something tells me management is tired of losing and wants to rebuild this team this offseason.
