Mitch is the only reason I watched the Knicks last year. If he wasn’t there, I would have watched less than ten games. Mitch ain’t a reason to stop from trading for AD if he’s willing to sign a long term with us.

You don’t need a stacked squad of elite talent to win a chip. Idk why some of y’all so hung up on that. If KD signs to the Knicks, he’s what Giannis is to the Bucks. Bucks are a conference final team with no second star. Nobody considered Bledsoe or Middleton a star even tho Middleton was an All star.
Mitch can be better than Brook Lopez. RJ can be as good or better than Middleton. Dennis Smith can be as good as Bledsoe. Knox can be as good as Mirotic. Their ceiling doesn’t have to be astronomical for them to have a shot at a title with KD and another star agent. Fans are always ready to gut the team any time some dude with any talent says he’ll sign in New York

NO has ZERO leverage so long as AD don’t wanna be there and no one is gonna trade for him when they know he might not resign

Middleton and Giannis been playing together 5 years. Bledsoe and Lopez are vets. You can't expect 1 and 2 year players to bring what they do. Knox and Mitch still 2-3 years from their man strength. KD doesn't afford the luxury for these guys to develop.

I think the Pels are gonna be backed into a corner quick once FA starts and are gonna have to take the best deal available which will be ours
Knox, RJ, Frank, DSJr (maybe Trier) and the two Dallas picks is way better than the Lakers 4th pick plus Ball, Luzma and Ingram imo

Yes he has an injury past but AD is damn near unstoppable when hes on the court. Everything in life is a gamble but if u can get AD u do it in a freakin heartbeat

I remember hearing a scout say “Professional sports is a business and in business you gamble and if you have the opportunity to trade prospects for a sure thing/Superstar you do it, the odds of the prospects panning out the way the sure thing/Superstar will, is slim”.

Years of it being our only rebuilding option has turned me off to trading young players and picks for a superstar player. I’m not too high on trading for AD.
