Official 2019 NYK offseason thread. Brooklyn knick fans check in

i doubt the pelicans would trade davis here if RJ wasnt included.. but im cool with that trade since no trier or robinson... i doubt it happens though

I don’t even know what I want from the Knicks anymore. Some days it’s like let’s keep rebuilding with the young cats because nothing feels better than a homegrown team winning, then other days it’s the opposite.

Man until we know KD is coming here and not Grant Hill’ing us...... I am going to go youth movement.

i'm still on team no AD. if he was under contract for 2-3 more years, then sure. let's NOT gut the team for another player that's about to be a FA. i don't care if he ends up in Boston or anywhere else. gutting the team has never worked for us. with our luck, he'd get injured right before the playoffs anyway.

plus, you don't NEED 3 all-stars to win. Toronto is doing it with 1.5. Mil with 2ish if you REALLY consider Middleton to be all-star level talent. Portland made it to the ECF with 2. what you really need is 1-2 superstar talents with GOOD role players that actually contribute like a Siakam, Ibaka, Van Fleet, Norman Powell, Brook Lopez, George Hill, Mirotic, Kevon Looney, Iggy, Alex Collins, Rodney Hood, etc. you need a solid team 1-12 and not have to worry about relying on Jarrett Jack and Greg Monroe to play 15 min in a playoff game, bc you maxed out on 3 players.

its delusional to think that quality role players will sign for the min, bc none of the players mentioned above will be signing for the min next season if they're a FA.

With all they doing to keep Kawhi, if bruh leaves, yall think the media gon dog him for essentially leaving two teams in such a short time?

Yeah and those picks might not even be all that since Dallas likely will be playoff team or close to it. It's a reactive move not proactive just another sign of a poorly run franchise.
