Official 2019 NYK offseason thread. Brooklyn knick fans check in

Remember watching him in high school against my school. Now dude will be worth more than his entire borough. Amazing.

I knew for sure Kemba was gonna make it to the league because of how easily he scraped Mount Vernon back in the day :smh:

Wait recruiting an all nba guard is what finally makes you leave?

For that money, I’m good. At this point, he isn’t that much of a franchise changer. I’d rather sit until next year than give Kemba $40+ million/year. Don’t see him keeping up this level of play too much longer honestly...and this is coming from a Bronx guy.

I’d love him on the team for a reasonable price, though. With the last two CBAs and all the weird *** contracts that came from it I’m not even sure what a reasonable price is anymore, but I know it isn’t $40+.

Kyrie I’m not completely in love with either, but he’s younger and is a much more efficient scorer.

That’s just me, though. I could be wrong, or course, and if he comes here I’ll support him wholeheartedly...but man that contract has albatross written all over it.

I love Kemba and been following his career for years but 40 mil is too much. But then again is it really? That’s the new normal. Giannis is gonna be getting $56 a year eventually.

Thats why id go with kyrie over kemba if given the choice... hes younger and more efficient and puts up better stats... kemba seems more durable though so that would be a good reason to get him over kyrie... hes going to get the bag from the hornets though

I think yall are really underrating the prospect of trading for Bradley Beal.

If we could move #3 for beal & possibly finagle a later pick as well that'd be odeal imo. He'd be a perfect fit next to any FA we may acquire too

You could argue that Beal would be an even better fit than AD if we’re trading that pick

Sure AD provides more pure star power but Beal is great off the ball and doesn’t need it in his hands to be effective on either end

He’d easily be able to transition into a role aside KD & Kyrie

I wonder if we can trade for Beal without including the pick.

DSJ, Knox, Trier, Dallas FRP

I mean all that's logical fam, but if not that can't be the straw, we been through some wild ****.

I'm fully buying into Perry Mills plan.

If they had offers for KP since September, they have a plan set in place for whatever happens between June and July.

i agree... this is why i dont see why people say oh same ol toxic franchise... this isnt the same poorly ran team that phil jackson and others before him ran... finally got a competent management team running things and dolan is actually on the sidelines... with that being said still need luck for the pieces to fall into place (KD and Kyrie signing here)

Rumor has it Knicks have a chance at Kawhi :nerd:
