- Now have two Valuable guards to use as assets, (Jrue & Conley).
Just think of the possibility of Pelicans fleeing us. But RJ is making it obviously known he don’t wanna get drafted by any other teams

I'd spend the money for D'Lo and Randle. Now we'd be at the difference between being competitive and being a contender....you're pretty much hoping RJ can surpass his ceiling if he's our pick.

Dame will about to be 31 and Gobert will not be needed. More and more coming to realization that we’re going to have to build a home grown winner now. DLO and Randle are looking like the only Free agents that I would sign and let grow with our own.

im down for going with homegrown talent... look at the warriors... not saying that will happen here but we got a shot if we draft well... with that being said i hope the team gets rid of frank... hes just not that good and using his age as an excuse is pitiful imo

this reinforces what a lot of us have been saying, BUILD YOUR YOUTH!!!!
People get so fixated over mega stars that we lose focus of what's important. Who would of have thought Dray or Klay would be this good? Besides the top 15 mega stars everyone else is Blist and a lot has been passed to the youngins.
Why cant RJ, Knox, Mitch, etc be a high Blist or even Mega Star?
Like dudes be downplaying Mitch ... like Lonzo, Hart and/or BI are better than him.
Mitch did not play college, his last competitive game was in HS, skipped a year of playing and still was a defensive presence, good rebounder and could get the bucket from the paint. Let's not forget he fouled like a beast as well. All this without a formidable offensive game plan.
I mean the Knicks offense was, get the ball and just shoot. A ******* joke.
I'm not saying we have the best young guys, but I'm saying that a couple of our guys can be that great. If we strike out on Mega Stars, dont hand put mega star money. Good contract for DLo and Randle a couple of vets and have fiz actually run an offense/defense. Let these young core develop.

As good as Morant is & will be, I'd almost be disappointed if we ended up with him.
