And y'all thought that "modern basketball" with smalls makin threes left and right was the championship formula?

News Flash: Basketball remains a game where you need defense and bigs who can control the paint in order to win chips. You watch the game for 40 plus years and ain't nothing changed about this fact.

GSW done spoiled everyone to death. Ain't nobody imitating the Warriors. Small ball ain't happening folks.

There's a reason why Bam and the Heat are up 2-0 and why Boston's soft a** interior D ain't doing jack. There's a reason why Jokic, Grant, MPJ, Milsap still standing. There's a reason why AD, Dwight, Javale, Kieff are still standing.

Last call at 4pm PST anybody want to make a friendly wager on DEN to win this series straight up? $50-$100 ($200 maximum)
Last call on Dwight and Javale playing significant minutes vs Den as opposed to strictly garbage time?

$100 minimum. $1K maximum. And you know I'm good for it.

They got no Bigs, no interior defense ..that's why they cant hold a lead

They definitely having a glaring need for a big.

Not sure that's the reason they've been losing leads though. Miami isn't exactly a huge team. And it definitely wasn't play by Marc Gasol that left them choking up leads against Toronto.

This goof still talking about bigs when the Heat trot out a 6'9" C and 4 smalls the majority of the game, I'm close to blocking Whip 2.0 for his lack of basketball acumen.
Why you afraid to bet me then. Put your money where ya mouth is bro. You said Javale and Dwight only playing garbage minutes vs Denver lol. Back yo **** up then bruh!!

Miami ain't huge but Bam plays "big". In fact he playing way more physical and more assertive than Theis.

My point isn't in the height. My point is how the PFs and Centers are playing, how big are they playing when it comes to defending the paint, altering shots, blocks, etc.

I mean.. ain’t Bill russell 6’9.. and dream was like 6’9 or 6’10.. also Dwight Howard is around that height too

but yea, that’s why it makes zero sense whatever the 76ers were trying do

Sure gimme money for you goofing by saying Dwert and Javele would be a factor thus far and we can call it even. Otherwise just sit down and be quiet. You have no idea what you're talking about and everybody sees it.

Celtics either get swept or lose in 5
That second quarter was working because they didn’t play Kanter game 1 and Brad got cocky thinking it’d work all game

Celtics were shown zone last series and still boggles my mind they can’t break it down.

Brad does the dumbass method of no time outs and wanting his players to figure it out themselves, Phil Jackson may be a genius but that coaching method fails more often than succeeding

They should announce the MVP before the playoffs start since it’s a regular season award, so every year we don’t have to hear people say “well his team got eliminated”
Yea it’s a regular season award, but every year ppl complain bout the MVP due to playoff results...it’s dumb :{
