I mean.. ain’t Bill russell 6’9.. and dream was like 6’9 or 6’10.. also Dwight Howard is around that height too

but yea, that’s why it makes zero sense whatever the 76ers were trying do

It's not just the height for sure, but I'm just annoyed at dude continuing to beat a false narrative about small ball like it hasn't produced the last 8 champions or so. From the a Heat, to the Warriors, to the Cavs, back to the Warriors and even the Raptors with Serge, next to nobody is playing 2 bigs at the same time except the Lakers. And everyone with a brain who's watched them at any point knows our best lineups all feature AD at the 5. Hell 3 of the 4 teams now all feature lineups with 1 big surrounded by wings/guards. You ain't going to see DEN put Joker and Plumlee out there for any significant stretch of time. Like basic basketball observation man. Don't know why it triggers me but it does.

You zag when everyone else zigs |l

How much more experience do they need, remember they lost a series to LeBron 2 years ago. Not blaming them simply asking how much longer can we blame inexperience?

Literally.

Hold on now Kuz been my dude since he been in the league remember when he almost BOOMED on Embiid and went bucket for bucket against Harden for 50. However he does need to get better on defense, he is improving.

since how long did Lebron take to win a championship? he even quit and went to a better team to get 1 and that first switch even was a learning experience on not to get too cocky. they got Dirked !

Sure gimme money for you goofing by saying Dwert and Javele would be a factor thus far and we can call it even. Otherwise just sit down and be quiet. You have no idea what you're talking about and everybody sees it.
Lmaoooooo so you now tryna twist the narrative. Admit it, you goofed big time by saying Dwight and Javale would only play garbage minutes against the Nuggets. Really shows your lack of basketball acumen.

Just cause you the king of retweets on NT doesnt prove you know the game better than me. Stats and analytics ain't everything, and we all know this.

Put yo bread up. $1k says Dwight and Javale do NOT just play garbage minutes against Denver.

Miami ain't huge but Bam plays "big". In fact he playing way more physical and more assertive than Theis.

My point isn't in the height. My point is how the PFs and Centers are playing, how big are they playing when it comes to defending the paint, altering shots, blocks, etc.
You don't know basketball. Your eyes deceive you if this is what you think you watched happen.

They got no Bigs, no interior defense ..that's why they cant hold a lead

that's one weakness but the main reason is, they don't have an anchor to rely on to keep that lead. even if the Celtics got a big, the Heat team are surrounded by a lot of shooters. problem is not mainly the defense but keep the offensive tempo.

I really hate how locker room stuff gets out to the media. I’m confused at what the issue is. They lost a game they should’ve won, of course emotions are high. Anybody that has played sports knows, this happens all the time. We always hear about players being a distraction, when a lot of times the media usually ignites the fires that become distractions.

That's where you are mistaken. The Heat, Cavs, and Warriors were NOT playing small ball.

And you guys are missing my point again. I was never implying that playing two 7-footers at the same time is the key lmaooo.

My point is...you need BIGS who can defend the paint and do all the intangibles, doesnt matter if you play em at the same time...you just need enough of them to make an impact. And this includes 6'9" PFs who play physical and play bigger than they height.

I doubt the Warriors, Heat, and Cavs will tell you that they didnt need defensive contributions from Bogut, Ezeli, Bosh, Juwan Howard, Haslem, Tristan Thompson, McGee, Pachulia, etc etc

Celtics outrebounded the Heat by 9 last night and had more blocks and points in the paint.
Did they make any key blocks or rebounds during that 3rd quarter when the tide turned?

Spare me with the analytics and stats bro. That means little in the grand scheme of things. WHO BRINGS IT IN KEY MOMENTS IN THE PLAYOFFS is what matters

Celtics need not any big, but the right one who brings physical force and can alter shots. Dwight Howard would've been perfect for Boston.

Celtics either get swept or lose in 5
That second quarter was working because they didn’t play Kanter game 1 and Brad got cocky thinking it’d work all game

Celtics were shown zone last series and still boggles my mind they can’t break it down.

Brad does the dumbass method of no time outs and wanting his players to figure it out themselves, Phil Jackson may be a genius but that coaching method fails more often than succeeding

Phil Jackson was just lucky, he got Superstars that can take over the game. as good as Phil is, he getting too much credit out of the players' hardwork. put Phil with the current Warriors team without Klay and Curry and I doubt that he would take a coaching job on such a weak team. Phil is smart enough not to tarnish his record, on the otherhand, I believe he would do a better job than Doc.

The way Boston was confused with that zone was the same way we had Milwaukee confused with the box and one.

Couldnt believe how Boston couldnt figure it out for so long

So defending the paint, altering shots, and blocks only matter in "key moments?"

Interesting spin.

if I were the Celtics, I would allow Tatum to ballhog and shoot.

Spare me the analytics and stats and what you actually see on the TV when you're watching the game, but yea my asinine logic is undeniable and full proof on leap day and under a blue moon during the winter solstice.

Boy, bye.

Tatum really needs to find his touch at the rack.

He'll get to the paint easy and then miss a 3-5 footer badly. I don't know if he has an issue with geometry or what.

I think he'll figure it out eventually.
