This rockets team is just to reliant on three-point shooting. If they're hitting threes, they're nearly unbeatable but if they're missing threes they can lose to anybody. This is why I don't see them being much of a threat to the Lakers and I see the Lakers winning in five. Of course the rocket will have at least one game where they shoot 45% from three but I don't see them doing it for out of seven times.

They've been too reliant on 3 point shooting since Dantoni has been coach... it's not a crime to attempt a mid range jump shot every once in a while... I would have kept Capela too just to have size in the middle.... but their small ball plan might actually work this time... we'll see

This is absolutely true but if they catch fire for a sustained stretch they could pull it off. If they commit to D like they did the first couple games it changes things as well.

Obviously, if they shoot 40% from three for an entire series, they can beat anyone in the league. I just don't see it happening.

I do think that their small ball lineup might be effective against Anthony Davis though. Anthony Davis thrives when he plays against bigger slower guys. He can just out maneuver and out skill those guys. He struggles against smaller, more scrappy defenders.

In a series against the Rockets, I would anticipate the Lakers would start LeBron at the 4 and AD at the 5 and just surround them with shooters
